Team Abilities

Team Abilities (特技, Tokugi, "Specialty") are passive skills that augment the player's characters in the Warriors Orochi series. Inspired by the skill system used in Samurai Warriors 2, these abilities provide the team with various beneficial effects such as stronger attack power, better luck, faster recovery, etc. They also stack together in proportion to how many have already been mastered.

Using the right combination of abilities is essential in clearing certain objectives or surviving in more difficult stages. For instance, abilities that increase mobility are invaluable in speed-based missions whereas life-regenerating abilities can help counteract gradual damage caused by fire attacks.

Ability List

Starting from the first title, characters are granted a set amount of abilities they can learn by accomplishing specific tasks during battle. Though these tasks vary greatly, they progressively become more difficult to achieve as more abilities are unlocked. The team abilities themselves are divided into three different categories: Skill, Strength, and Support. They become stronger in increments with the second game adding more levels for certain abilities due to the expanded cast.

Skill-based abilities are generally useful for empowering the overall stats of the player's team. Strength-based abilities, however, mostly focus on enhancing the offensive capabilities of a character. As for Support-based abilities, their role is to help ensure the team's survival by promoting faster level growth and recovery rate. Up to seven different abilities can be equipped at a time.

This is a list of tasks that unlock a character's assigned ability upon completion with the skill order also included for additional convenience. All of these can be done in any level of difficulty. Musou OROCHI Z adjusts the tasks of certain characters to make them more challenging to unlock.
