No problem! Also, thank you for keeping this wiki alive when I wonder off to work on different tasks and responsibilities. Keep up the great work, even when it seems no one cares. Koei games remain among my favorite and I appreciate how much content this wiki houses and maintains. SonsofZeruiah (talk) 22:04, March 11, 2020 (UTC)

Decloned weapon in DW Mobile and DW9:E

I just hope Wang Yi's weapon is just temporary weapon in the Visual art of DW : Mobile. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Ei5vUoxU0AAWaKt?format=jpg&name=small
Green SSX is Xi Wangmu in DW Mobile?!
I don't expect Green SSX to be Xi Wangmu, who debuted in DWSF2.her kanji is 西王母 instead of 孫尚香. We have seen a silhouette of Xi Wangmu's original design from DWSF2
Wiki improvements
A community manager has given me a list of suggestions to improve this wiki.
- Main page
- Add a short description about Koei at the top.
- Add content links to other content apart from games if possible (characters, gameplay, lore, alliances, battles, clans, kingdoms, weapons, songs). Maybe links to categories would work better, since each game would be different.
- Add some images to make the main page less unappealing to look at.
- Make sure everything is up to date, for instance, the Koei News section has nothing since May and mentions the Technical Updates staff blog, which hasn't gotten new posts in three years.
- Create the Mobile Main Page.
- Other stuff
- Improve the wiki navigation (add more categories, change "Browse by category" text).
- Convert the non-portable infoboxes.
- Would you like Discussions enabled on this wiki?
◄► Tephra ◄► <staff/> 20:57, 25 October 2020 (UTC)
- If you need help with any of them, let me know and I will try to help in any way I can.
◄► Tephra ◄► <staff/> 10:57, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
- Hello, just a quick reminder about the above items. I realize this type of work may seem to be low priority compared to regular content, but search engines regard the main page as a representation of the entire wiki, and if the main page is poor quality, it could harm the wiki's status in search results.
I can't really help with some of these, not being familiar enough with the content, but I can help with the more technical items like converting the infoboxes if you want.
I'll also need a yay or nay on enabling the Discussions for this wiki.

Hey Humble Novice, I realize you've had other obligations that have taken priority, but it's already approaching three months since I first brought this up with you. I've been instructed to begin making these improvements myself. I won't enable Discussions until/unless you say to, but I will begin working on the other improvements. You can, of course, help do some of them too if you have the time.
◄► Tephra ◄► <staff/> 15:19, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Humble Novice! I've been talking with Tephra about all of this. We can start with some of the mentioned stuff:
- The Mobile Main Page is not created yet, so this is not changing at all any previous status.
- The infoboxes will be working as before. Just in case, once Tephra will convert them to the portable status, we can fix or change any concrete detail you want.
- The Main Page won't be greatly altered soon. He'll just add a new section for content links to improve the navigation.
- Regarding the wiki navigation menu, the current categories are awesome. Nevertheless, we can extend even more its use (we can add four items and also add links in a second and third level), like adding some of the other categories the wiki has in the "Category:Content". In addition, the name "Browse by category" is not recommended for the SEO of the wiki, so I'd suggest other names like "Koei" or something similar related with the company. Pirate Warriors character images
Hey, just wanted to get a quick update. It seems like somebody changed all the Straw Hats' (and several other characters) profile images back to their pre-timeskip versions (except Franky for some reason). I remember a while back we agreed on using their post-timeskip renders, so would it be okay to update them? Also, I've noticed that some characters' profile images are still from Pirate Warriors 2 or 3. Would it be okay to update them to show their PW4 renders as the main image, or do you want them to be left as is? I noticed that the SW and DW characters' pages use whatever their most recent appearance is as their profile image, so I was wondering if it also applies to PW. Squashing bugs on Fandom
Hello there!
I wanted to draw your attention to a 2 week quality of life bug fixing project we’re undertaking as we work through a ton of great feedback we got about the new unified experience we unveiled at Community Connect last weekend. This work will focus on bugs which haven’t risen to critical fix levels while the engineering teams have been heads down on the unified experience work, like features not quite working the way they’re intended or the way they used to on the legacy platform.
You can read more about it in this blog, but what I’m specifically reaching out about is seeing if you have any particular bugs that are really annoying but not site breaking and may not have been reported yet. We have an opportunity to get bugs like that triaged and incorporated into this project, so if that’s the case, please send me everything you can about the bug(s), including steps to reproduce them and any other relevant information.
This is your opportunity to get a quick fix to everyday annoyances while the teams are in full bug squashing mode, so let me know quickly! Also please check with your community members to see if they have experienced any issues we could address in this. Thanks! --Pcj (talk) <staff /> 16:36, 12 March 2021 (UTC)

Debate over Mount Tenmoku
user Donpedro188 and myself are in disagreement about the appearance of Mount Tenmoku in SW2. He believes that since the battle, Fall of the Takeda, takes place at Ueda, which is confirmed in battle, that it belongs under Ueda's page. However, I think it should fall under Mount Tenmoku because its the same battle, just moved to the Ueda map and given a made up justification for why the Sanada are so heavily involved. Where does this content belong? I know its a bit of a gray area, but I don't want to start an edit war. I think Donpedro188 also deleted the section on this battle from the Spirit of Sanada as well, even though it is literally a map thats played in the game, just under a chapter battle name, not a proper battle name, but I could be remembering wrong, and someone else did that. Thanks for the help. SonsofZeruiah (talk) 23:50, 22 June 2021 (UTC)
Nicknicklee1233
Could we get User:Nicknicklee1233 banned? He's been adding nothing but his own fanfictions to the character pages.
Hello Boss,
I think, in the characters' Roles in Games, the paragraphs and the lines are too long, and there is no distinction between different game versions, so it will become a wall of text and make people confused while reading. I recommend we should divide those parts like this:
Samurai Warriors
Samurai Warriors 1
Nobunaga is an eccentric conqueror who believes he has the heavens on his side. Threatened in his home territory by the invading Yoshimoto, he lures his target to attack him. Leading an ambush during a fierce rainstorm, Nobunaga beats the odds and slays his stronger opponent at Okehazama......
Samurai Warriors 2
His story in Samurai Warriors 2 abridges his battle at Okehazama and fast-forwards to his fight with the Takeda at Nagashino. He previously decimated their forces on his conquest for expansion and aims to use the battle to wipe them out. His confrontation with the Takeda infuriated the remaining lords and the Honganji rebels. Knowing that the rebels had powerful influence over the populace, he lead his troops to end them at Osaka Bay.......
In Samurai Warriors: Katana, Nobunaga is prominently featured in the Ascendancy chapter which details pivotal moments of his career through the eyes of the protagonist. His military successes and miraculous survival at Honnōji is made possible by the player who he comes to trust.......
Samurai Warriors 3
Samurai Warriors 3 has Nobunaga start his story after he unifies Owari. Surrounded on two sides by the Imagawa and Tokugawa armies, Nobunaga leads his army to defy obliteration at Okehazama. Yoshimoto's death assures him that his time among the living can continue. He reveals his ambition to rule the land with military might to the surrendering Ieyasu, offering the cowering general to follow him if he is prepared.......
Nobunaga appears as an ambitious conqueror in Samurai Warriors Chronicles. Nobunaga enters the story in chapter one at the famous battle of Okehazama, where he leads his few thousand men to defeat the massively larger Imagawa forces. Despite such odds, Nobunaga remains calm, telling the Protagonist the power of desire and the acceptance of fate allow for any level of success desired.........
Despite being given his own story route in Sengoku Musou 3: Empires, Nobunaga is a peripheral character throughout every chapter.......
Samurai Warriors 4
In the fourth game, his role is reprised closely to previous installments. His rise to power begins at Okehazama, where his numerically inferior troops decimate the Imagawa troops.......
The 4-II Sparks of Rebellion story has Nobunaga continue to bully and toy with Hisahide for his amusement. He isn't surprised to see the rebel survive Shigesan Castle and welcomes the rebellion at Honnōji. Nobunaga forgives Hisahide again as he dies, denying him his final chance to hear his disapproval.......
Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3, pits him a central point for a wide variety of the what-if scenarios. If Yoshimoto or Shingen rises to power, Nobunaga will resist them at Okehazama and Mikatagahara respectively and will be slain in both encounters......
Spirit of Sanada has Nobunaga briefly appear during Katsuyori's reign, acting as the Tokugawa's ally and was leading the reinforcements heading for Nagashino.....
Samurai Warriors 5
The young Nobunaga in the fifth game acts as the lord of Owari and the primary obstacle to Yoshimoto's march to the capital......

Introduction and assistance
Hello! I’m Héctor, a Fandom Community Manager. First of all, I would like to congratulate you for all the work you have been doing in this community. I would also like to offer our assistance with a project we run for wikis and your wiki is eligible for it. If you’re interested, we can offer to you some key informative areas about wikis and community management to help you grow this one.
To start with, once you agree we typically discuss a bit about your previous experience on Fandom. The procedure is to mention all the areas we can explore with you, and you can later select the ones you would be interested in. Let me know what you think about it. Thanks in advance! --CuBaN VeRcEttI <staff /> (Contact) 14:22, 20 April 2022 (UTC)
- Well, this wiki has been well known by us since a lot of years, and we've been always supporting you as far as we could. For instance, assigning a Wiki Manager / Wiki Representative during the last years. Right now, I'm running this project for about a year, and I basically thought your wiki was really good and I could probably do something from my side to help even more, so that's basically because I chose it. If you're interested, I can start sharing the first details of the project. If not, that's totally fine. --CuBaN VeRcEttI <staff /> (Contact) 11:22, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
- Excellent! What we basically do is to offer instructional and educational tools about any wiki area to find opportunities to grow. We organize all the areas with "lessons" and you can select and discard the interesting ones for your concrete case.
- The first of the three main levels covers basic content about wikis, including:
- Editing: editing and editors, page creation, text format, images, links, wikitext, audio, videos, preview, history, minor edit, redirect and purge
- Content: Content seed, galleries, templates, HTML, namespace, Table of contents and SEO
- Design: Skin, Theme Designer, themes, background, wordmark, favicon, contrast and accessibility
- Navigation: Main page, navigation menu, categories, sitename and tables
- Portability: FandomMobile, mobile skin, infoboxes and nested tables
- If you want to start soon, please confirm to me which areas you already consider you are an expert, and/or which ones you want to explore with us. It’s actually better to concrete each one of the topics I’ve mentioned, not just the main area (ex: “I know about page creation but I don’t know too much about redirects”, instead of “I know/don’t know about editing”). As soon as we finish with that, we can explore more advanced areas about admin features and community management. Thanks! --CuBaN VeRcEttI <staff /> (Contact) 09:29, 28 April 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reply! It's obvious the first level is not as useful as the rest for experienced admins like you, but even this one contains some areas we could explore. Let me send a Wiki Rep. here soon to explore them. After that, we can move forward with the advanced levels. --CuBaN VeRcEttI <staff /> (Contact) 13:25, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
Hey there, I'm Tagaziel and I was asked to step in and lend a hand. :)
Just to get this out of the way, here's links to some of our resources covering the toolbox of community management (I helped write a few of those, so I can vouch for them).

Content
The heart of the wiki! My favorite is content seeding. This fancy name refers to setting up articles on the wiki, creating the foundation. Rather than go and create them one-by-one, making a perfect article each time - you focus on creating "starter" or "seed" articles: These don't have to be perfect at first, but contain enough content to help editors get that first edit in and fill out the article.
I'll use an example from one of my beloved wikis, Disco Elysium. Look at Kim Kitsuragi:
- Initial seeding was bare-bones, providing minimal information. However, it did lay out the basic structure (Infobox+Lead/Background/Interactions/Behind the Scenes/References) and formed a spine around which to build up the rest of the article.
- A few months later, with me playing the game and updating the wiki, each section was filled in and the article started looking like a proper wiki article.
- And by the end of 2021 it became an absolute beast of an article, providing detailed information on pretty much ALL things Kim Kitsuragi.
I've used it to great success on many other wikis that I've worked on over the years. Content seeding is there to help figure out the basic structure of the wiki, make it easier for editors to start editing, and plan out your work.
Seeding is also directly tied to SEO or Search Engine Optimization, which is basically making the wiki attractive not just to users, but to search engines as well. Good SEO is an art, rather than hard science, and basically means ensuring that:
- Articles are well structured and on-point (so make judicious use of headings, interlinks etc.).
- Provide concrete answers on specific topics (which is why it's often best to break up huge articles into smaller chunks).
- Load up fast (so use thumbnails for files, rather than 1024px PNGs that cause the entire site to take half a minute to load, if the server has a bad day).
We have an excellent resource on SEO here.
Portability
FandomMobile is a new experience, more or less. It does not currently support extensive customization and is constantly in development. However, it's important to note the way in which it converts article contents to make them display on mobile devices: That's where nested tables you asked about come in.
The consensus? Avoid like the plague.
My personal approach when it comes to editing pages to make them look better on mobile is to focus on the content itself and try to keep the presentation as simple as possible - basically, always asking myself if there's a simpler way to present the topic than what I'm currently using (and frequently the answer is an overwhelming yes).
Let me know if you have any further questions, I know I'm better in answering more specific questions or working on concrete examples. Of course, don't hesitate to reach out if you need any additional resources. We're always happy to help! Тагазиэль <staff /> 10:51, 11 May 2022 (UTC)
- Great. Leave me a talk page message when you know what you need further. :) Тагазиэль <staff /> 11:04, 14 May 2022 (UTC)
Advanced lessons of the Emerging Wikis project
Hi again Humble Novice! It's been long time since the last time we talked, but I'm here again! How are you? How it's been your experience with Tagaziel? If you think you're fine with what he shared, and you want to move forward, I'm sharing here the list of advanced topics from the project.
The second level basically covers admin features and community management:
- Admin features: Rights, admin dashboard, special pages, list of users, protecting, blocking, deleting, reverting, moving
- Moderation: Message wall, blogs, comments, Discussions, recent changes, social activity, spam, vandalism, edit count, disruptive editing
- Policies: Licenses, policies, Terms of Use
- Community management: Guidelines, common mistakes, best practices, advices, harassment and bullying, site notice
And once people already have a significant background about all of these, we offer a third and last level with extended content:
- Wiki content: Advanced content and best practices about navigation, categories, main page, wiki performance, CSS and JS
- Other admin features: Announcements, analytics, Community page, edit count, user rights, bots, extensions, DPL, parser functions, Lua
- Moderation: Followed pages, extended best practices about Discussions moderation, recent changes patrol
- Extra initiatives: Council, app, social media, Discord, achievements, maps extension, interactive maps, trivia quizzes
Let me know if any of the areas from the second level would interest you, and we can start with them. If you think you’re totally fine with all of them, then check the third level, in case we could offer you anything. Thanks! --CuBaN VeRcEttI <staff /> (Contact) 09:47, 10 June 2022 (UTC)
- Hi again! First of all, sorry for the late reply!!! It's been very busy days. Regarding the lessons, that's totally fine. Feel free to reach me in the future if you would like to explore any of the areas I mentioned. Also keep into account Tagaziel has been recently working here with you for a concrete period of time and inside this project, but he already has a significant amount of wikis assigned and we can't ensure a permanent support from his side. That's why I recommend to reach me directly if I could help.
- Regarding the project itself, what's your opinion about it? How it's been your experience and your time alongside Tagaziel? I'm glad to hear from you. Bye! --CuBaN VeRcEttI <staff /> (Contact) 15:30, 4 July 2022 (UTC)
- We're happy to hear this from you! If you want to move forward with advanced topics, please tell it to me! Just mention the rest of areas you would like to know more about, and I can set another session for you. Thanks! --CuBaN VeRcEttI <staff /> (Contact) 17:42, 11 August 2022 (UTC)

Hello again Humble Novice! I’m reaching you because you were one of the participants in the educational project we have been running during this last year. Just in case you would not be aware, in May we launched a special project called Fandom Stars, addressed to special top users as a creator recognition program. Some people that participated in my educational project - like you - are now Fandom Stars members, so if you think you’re eligible and you’re interested, I recommend you to apply for it. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks! CuBaN VeRcEttI <staff /> (Contact) 10:20, 23 December 2022 (UTC)

Contrast links
Hi Humble! With the release of the new technical update, your links in dark mode are underlined, which signifies that the link color does not have at least a 1.5 contrast ratio with the text color. So feel free to adjust these in ThemeDesigner as needed ^^

Looking great! :D There is an error in dark mode, accent color where it needs to be a lighter color. It'll give you some options if you click on it. Once you do that, you can enable mobile theming by clicking the checkbox underneath "background image" ^^ —Vec (talk) <staff /> 02:45, 20 January 2023 (UTC)
Also, no worries about the late introduction ^^ Glad to be here :) —Vec (talk) <staff /> 02:46, 20 January 2023 (UTC)
The editor will actually give you options to replace that accent color if you click on it. A slightly lighter red should work I think. —Vec (talk) <staff /> 14:46, 25 January 2023 (UTC)

Hi Humble! Quick question for you and the other admins: As you may have heard, Fandom is testing a "thanks" feature for edits (akin to Wikipedia) (You can check it out on here). Do you have any objections to potentially being included in this test? Keep in mind that you can disable notifications in your preferences, and that while you can opt out of this test for now, this feature might be rolled out to all wikis in the future. —Vec (talk) <staff /> 15:53, 31 May 2023 (UTC)

I heard rumored that Gust to be involved in fire emblem engage? I don't think that fire emblem engage is still involved by KT Gust.
