Hestu

From Koei Tecmo Wiki

Hestu is a large Korok who is playable in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. He lives in the Korok Forest, where the Master Sword resides. He is easily noticed by the two maracas he holds in his hands to use his magic with, and his larger size versus normal Koroks further gives him away.

Role In Game

Hestu is first seen trying to be seen by the party of Link, Princess Zelda, Impa, and the four Champions in Urbosa, Revali, Mipha, and Daruk, along with Terrako, a small Guardian who time-traveled into the past to warn Hyrule of the Great Calamity and Calamity Ganon returning to attack the kingdom. While everyone else in the party either doesn't see him or ignores him, Zelda soon takes notice of him, getting the attention of the rest of the group, before Hestu celebrates that someone saw him and properly introduces himself. When asked if he can help them through the forest to find the Master Sword's grove, Hestu explains he can't as the path home for him is full of Ganon's monsters. Luckily, Zelda offers to have the group help Hestu past the monsters, and in return, he can lead them to the Master Sword. Happy they will help him, Hestu happily leads them towards the Master Sword's grove.

Some time later, after Calamity Ganon awakens and attacks Hyrule, Hestu is among the allied coalition of Hyrule's various races uniting under Zelda to take back Hyrule Castle from Calamity Ganon, shaking his maracas in victory as the troops roar in unison to attack and take back their home from Ganon.
