Revali is a playable character in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. A gifted archer who has mastered an aerial move previously thought impossible. While boastful, he has the skills to back up his claims. Now, he is entrusted with piloting Divine Beast Vah Medoh.

Role in Games

Prior to the events of the game, Revali lived in Rito Village with his kin as their greatest warrior. While protecting his home from monsters, Revali gave Link and Zelda an unwarm welcome when they came to recruit the. as he assumed them to be in league with the monsters. After Zelda broke the duel between him and Link, Revali decides to join their party as the Rito Champion and the pilot of the Divine Beast Vah Medoh, which he used to clear a safe passage for the group to get into Korok Forest.

In the original timeline, Revali was killed by Windblight Ganon with his spirit trapped within Vah Medoh’s control room before Link destroyed his killer ages later and aided in Ganon’s defeat before passing on. In the new timeline created by Terrako, Revali’s death and humility were averted when the Rito warrior Teba appeared during his battle against after Windblight Ganon with the pair fending the monster off before Link arrives to destroy it.

Personality

Extremely arrogant and full of pride, Revali comes off as a rather flamboyant ham despite his well-intentions and to conceal his insecurities. He also considered Link inferior to himself and expressed some envy that he became the chosen Hero instead of him. But sharing the other Champions’ devotion to stopping Calamity Ganon, Revali gradually puts his vanity aside for the greater good.
