Han Meng (onyomi: Kan Mō) is an officer in Yuan Shao's army. He's placed in charge of transporting food supplies from their depo to their camp during the battle of Guandu. His route for transporting the food was discovered and attacked by Xu Huang and Shi Huan, who defeated him easily. Upon returning to Yuan Shao, he was demoted to a commoner. He was referred to by Xun You as a valiant fool.
Roles in Games
Han Meng first appeared in Dynasty Warriors 2, defending Wuchao alongside Chunyu Qiong at Guan Du. He follows Yuan Shao through most of his story mode in Dynasty Warriors 3: Xtreme Legends, usually fighting against foes who will overcome him without aid. In Dynasty Warriors 4 through 6, he serves as part of the first rush on Baima or Yanjin, usually as a subordinate officer. During the Campaign Against the Yuans, in Dynasty Warriors 7: Xtreme Legends, he attempts to stop Guo Jia's initial push against Yuan Shao's children. He also makes an appearance at Mt. Bailang as the defending officer of the main mountain camp.
In the Romance of the Three Kingdoms game series, Han Meng has very average stats, with a slight skill in defense and patrolling. He appears as an independent officer long after Yuan Shao's defeat due to his historic dismissal before the end of the Guandu campaign.
