In the Dynasty Warriors franchise, the term Allied Forces refers to several separate coalitions of various factions joining forces against a common enemy.
Chronologically, the first and most well-known army referred to by this title is the alliance formed by Cao Cao to unite the powerful warlords of China against the tyranny of Dong Zhuo, and at Cao Cao's suggestion, Yuan Shao was named Supreme Commander of this army. The Allies won an initial victory at Sishui Gate by defeating Hua Xiong, but due to Yuan Shu refusing (or in some instances, being rendered unable) to send supplies to Sun Jian and failure to take Hulao Gate, the coalition fell apart and the warlords returned to their respective territories.
Other groups referred to by this title include the coalition of the Wu Territory's warlords, led by Liu Yao, against Sun Ce's forces, Cao Cao and Liu Bei joining forces against Lu Bu, three coalition warlords (Cao Cao, Sun Ce and Liu Bei) against Yuan Shu, the alliance of Liu Bei and Sun Quan against Cao Cao's navy at Chibi and the Wu-Wei alliance to wrest control of Jing Province from Shu.
In Dynasty Warriors 6, the term refers to the large coalition group that opposes Lu Bu at Hu Lao Gate in the former's story.
In Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce and its sequel, this term refers to the warriors of all the Three Kingdoms banding together.
In the Warriors Orochi series, it refers to the whole of humanity united against Orochi.
