Dynasty Warriors 7/Skills

Dynasty Warriors 7 uses a simplified version of the sixth title's skill tree system. To unlock a skill, players must spend a certain amount of skill points accumulated in battles. Skill points are shared between characters in Story Mode while Conquest Mode keeps the amount separate for each one. Furthermore, their effects are magnified when paired with identical weapon seals.
