Deng Fang (鄧方, onyomi: Tō Hō) was an official and military general who served under Liu Bei during the last years of the Han and the early Three Kingdoms. Due to most info about him being lost, he makes no appearances in the novel.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms has Deng Fang as an average general who serves Liu Bei in all scenarios. his military stats are decent, sitting in the high 60s to low 70s, whereas his other stats are average, ranging in the 50s. Deng Fang can be used offensively as a commander, and does average as an official.
Historical Information
Deng Fang, style name: Kongshan (孔山), was a native of Nanjun, in Jing province. When Liu Bei become the Governor of Jing after Liu Qi's death, Deng Fang came to serve him and was appointed as an "Assistant officer". He later served under Liu Bei as a general during the Yizhou campaign and participated in several battles. After Liu Bei triumphed over Liu Zhang, Deng Fang was given a new appointment as the "Commandant of Qianwei Commandery". He was subsequently transferred to other positions, including the "Administrator of Zhuti Commandery", "General Who Pacifies Distant Lands", and "Area Commander of Laixiang". Deng Fang established his headquarters at Nanchang county and oversaw all areas under his jurisdiction there. He passed away in 222 of unknown causes.
Known as a loyal and decisive person. Deng Fang did not care for financial gain and did his best to help the common folk. This earned him ample respect from the civilians and foreigners under his authority and as such, they trusted him greatly.
