Nobukado Takeda is one of Shingen and Nobushige's younger brothers. He is posthumously recognized as one of the Twenty-Four Generals of Takeda.
The Nobunaga no Yabou 201X poll for 3-star officers puts him in seventy-first place.
Role in Games
Nobukado is often seen in the Samurai Warriors series supporting his brother during early battles of the era. He is a substitute officer for Shingen whenever a player uses the latter on one of his maps in Warriors Orochi.

Historical Information
He was third son of Takeda Nobutora. In 1541, he was a member of the coup that fired Nobutora from the area and gave the title of Daimyō to his eldest brother, Harunobu. In November of the same year, he lead the army to destroy Suwa clan.
In 1551, he attended Takeda Yoshinobu's wedding ceremony.
In 1561, he joined battle at Kawanakajima and In 1570, he was the owner of Takatō Castle.
In September 1573, after Shingen's death, he received as caretaker of Īda Castle and Ōshima Castle. During this time, his father, Nobutora entered lived in Takatō Castle. Where he built a statue of Nobutora as a memorial.
During the conflict against Oda at Nagashino, he worked with Takeda Nobutoyo and Obata Nobusada to attacked the Oda army but failure.
During the Kōshū Campaign, he tried to defend the Oda army who led by Oda Nobutada but he suffered the defeat. After Takeda Katsuyori has committed suicide, he was captured and being executed by soldier of Mori Nagayoshi. His cemetery is located at Shōyōin Temple in Kōfu City.
