Kiyohide Nakagawa is one of the many lords who tried to become dependent against Nobunaga. Once he faced the Oda army, however, he decided to defect to their cause and became one of Hideyoshi's and Shōnyūsai Ikeda's subordinates. While he served as the second wave of defense during Shizugatake, he died fighting against Morimasa Sakuma's onslaught. Hideyoshi famously mourned his death and gave his sentiments to Kiyohide's siblings.

Samurai Warriors
He makes his first appearance in Samurai Warriors: Xtreme Legends at Komaki-Nagakute.
In Samurai Warriors 2, he is put in the spotlight at Shizugatake. He defends the garrison in front of the Hashiba main camp and Morimasa will charge for him from the central garrison. If Morimasa reaches him, Kiyohide will state that he is injured and will retreat, triggering Shōgen Yamaji's defection. Likewise, even if Morimasa doesn't reach Kiyohide, Shogen will still defect. He appears as a generic in a handful of campaigns such as Shikoku and Kyūshū.
In Samurai Warriors 3, he is not as important as Shizugatake and appears as a reinforcement along with Tsuneoki at Yamazaki and a general in a small portion of various Oda and Hashiba battles.
Kessen
He appears in Kessen III as an enemy of the Oda, working for Murashige Araki. Even if Murashige first joins after the first battle against him, Kiyohide himself won't join.
Oda Nobunaga Den
He acting as one of Araki's vassals. During his master was revolting against Nobunaga, he was persuaded to retreat by Hideyoshi, after Ukon was persuaded to retreat by Sakuma Nobumori.
Historical Information
Born in Settsu Province and has the childhood name is Toranosuke (虎之助). He enter served Ikeda Katsumasa, who the influential person in Settsu Province. He and Katsumasa were worked under Oda Nobunaga during the battle against Miyoshi Yoshitsugu. However, the Ikeda clan has the within conflict and Katsumasa was ousted. Ikeda Tomomasa became the leader, make he was the temporary enemy to Nobunaga.
In September 17, 1571, he and Araki Murashige were worked to defeat Wada Koremasa and killed him at Shiraigawara (白井河原). He became the owner of Ibaraki Castle and became part of the independent force in Settsu Province, along with Murashige and Takayama Ukon. In 1578, Murashige rebelled and lose in the battle to Nobunaga. He and Ukon were surrender and work for Oda clan, under Niwa Nagahide and Ikeda Tsuneoki.
After the incident at Honnōji, he and Ukon were served Hashiba Hideyoshi and they fight against Akechi at Yamazaki. In the battle at Shizugatake, he prevent the Ōiwayama Fort (大岩山砦) form the Shibata's army, along with Ukon and Hashiba Hidetsugu. However, the assault were too intense for him to defend the fort and he was slain in the battle.
His son are Hidemasa and Hideshige were served Hideyoshi. His daughter, Itohime (糸姫) became the wife of Ikeda Terumasa.
