When contributing to this site, please refrain from creating incomplete article pages that contain bare-bones information about the subject. We already have enough of those as it is, so my advice is that you help finish those first. Only make an article page if you are absolutely certain that the information you provided is mostly complete enough to stand on its own. Humble Novice (talk) 22:43, February 14, 2020 (UTC)

If you refuse to listen to reason, I'm going to delete the next article you make unless it's thoroughly filled with information you've written in your own words. - Do not plagiarize information from Wikipedia. I already asked you to write whatever articles you make in your own words, and you haven't even bothered to add a section which details what the character does in the games they appear in. It's ok if you're adding more information to my articles. Like which games are relevant and some more pictures in the gallery. But stop editing my own, original unique sentences on the characters in their historical bios as well as in their Romance of the 3 kingdoms bios also. I don't appreciate you doing so when I've used my own words and judgement as well as my own knowledge to present my characters. You've edited out most of my original well-thought bios on my articles regarding Yang Ang, Wen Ze, Gongsun Xu, Gongsun Fan, and Fan Fang. I actually received a message from User:SonsofZeruiah telling me I shouldn't copy from wikipedia or other sources when it comes to writing character bios and instead use my own words and knowledge to write the bios instead. Well that's exactly what I did, now I find you erasing some of my hard work like that because you thought my words weren't relevant enough despite being original? If you want to make edits like that, make your own article for a change or don't edit out so many original sentences you erase someone else's hard work for nothing. I don't approve of what you did to the articles I made, and if you do it again to any more articles made by me, I will report you to the admins. Jeffrey Linn (talk 22:44, March 15, 2022 (UTC)
Categories
Thank you for finding those Lord of Darkness pictures, it's good to see the older NA game images.
Just a friendly reminder, don't forget to assign each image uploaded its proper category, so we can keep each game's images organized together. If you are not sure which category to use, I recommend searching a complete page like Nobunaga Oda or Hideyoshi Toyotomi's and following their images straight to their categories.
One last piece of advice, we also aim to keep images organized in the same manner on each page. The pattern for Samurai pages is as follows: Warriors title related images, Nobunaga's Ambition related images, and miscellaneous images. Each grouping generally follows a pattern of the oldest content displayed first, newest last. I once again recommend you look at some fairly complete collection of images if you are wondering in what order to place them.

Recent image adds
Is Sengoku IXA even a Koei developed or published game? All I could find said it is made by Square Enix, but I cannot find much about it. SonsofZeruiah (talk) 20:19, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
Updating Images
To update an image to a newer or correct image, click on the desired image to update. In the popup screen that appears, click on the link that takes you to the images page.
Alternatively, you can just go straight to the image page my searching its name: for example, searching for Astor's image from Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity you can type in File:Astor_(HWAC).png after the Koei fandom wiki page name (including a backslash / before it as well).
Aftrerwards, down under the file history part of the page, there is a link labeled "upload a new version of this file". Click on that and then follow the upload instructions (it should still be like any other new image upload). Once uploaded and the edit is finalized, it should replace the old file with the new and/or correct one.
