Ujitoshi Sena

Ujitoshi Sena was the elder brother of Chikanaga Sekiguchi and Sena's uncle. He established the main camp for the Imagawa force at Okehazama, but was in a nearby castle during the conflict, missing the battle. He was one of several Imagawa Samurai to vanish afterwards in the chaos of the failing Imagawa clan.

Role in Games

During the Okehazama stage in Samurai Warriors 2, he acts as the defender of Marumi garrison. In Samurai Warriors 4, he defends Tange Garrison, the first garrison that Nobunaga attacks to clear a route to ambush Yoshimoto's camp.

In Nobunaga's Ambition series, he has a moderate political stats.

Historical Information

Ujitoshi was the first son of Sena Ujisada. His childhood name was Gengorō (源五郎). Ujitoshi served faithfully under Imagawa Yoshimoto. In 1538, he helped secure part of Suruga during a time of unrest. It is theorized that Hōjō Ujitsuna stirred up the trouble. In 1544, his son, Sena Nobuteru, was born.

During the Okehazama campaign, he was responsible for scouting the terrain and setting up the main camp on their way to the capital. Once he established the camp, Ujitoshi was assigned to garrison Ōtaka Castle, causing him to miss the actual battle. after the death of Yoshimoto, he retreated back into Suruga, where he disappears from history, one of many lost vassals of the scrambling Imagawa post-Okehazma.
