Samurai Warriors 4/Items

Items in Samurai Warriors 4 are divided into two types: consumables and heirlooms. Consumables primarily consist of items that sustain the player's longevity or enhance their performance. They can only be used once per battle.

Heirlooms (家宝, kahou) are special tools with unique properties associated with a particular character or DLC set. These items have cooldown timers before they can be reused. Players initially have a slim probability of acquiring them by defeating a character under certain conditions. Meeting those requirements repeatedly helps raise the success rate needed to obtain an heirloom by 7%.

The player can assign whichever item type they have acquired into individual slots.

	Armor of Valor - Lv. 1	Increases defense by 100% for 60 seconds.
	Armor of Valor - Lv. 2	Increases defense by 150% for 60 seconds.
	Armor of Valor - Lv. 3	Increases defense by 200% for 60 seconds.
	Boots of Celerity - Lv. 1	Increases mobility by 50% for 30 seconds.
	Boots of Celerity - Lv. 2	Increases mobility by 50% for 60 seconds.
	Boots of Celerity - Lv. 3	Increases mobility by 50% for 90 seconds.
	Black Dagger - Lv. 1	Increases attack speed by 30% for 60 seconds.

	Inferno Blade - Lv. 1	Imbues attacks with the inferno attribute for 60 seconds.

	Inferno Blade - Lv. 3	Imbues attacks with the inferno attribute for 120 seconds.
	Flare Blade - Lv. 1	Imbues attacks with the flash attribute for 60 seconds.

	EXP Amulet - Lv. 1	Enemies will drop scrolls 25% of the time for 120 seconds.
	EXP Amulet - Lv. 2	Enemies will drop scrolls 25% of the time for 180 seconds.
	EXP Amulet - Lv. 3	Enemies will drop scrolls 25% of the time for 240 seconds.
	Fortune Amulet - Lv. 1	Enemies will drop gold 25% of the time for 120 seconds.
	Fortune Amulet - Lv. 2	Enemies will drop gold 25% of the time for 180 seconds.
	Fortune Amulet - Lv. 3	Enemies will drop gold 25% of the time for 240 seconds.

	Rider's Cup	Defeat Kenshin with a Musou Frenzy attack.
	Effects: Neutralizes the fortified area's effects for 45 seconds.
	Bean Bag	Defeat Oichi with a lightning attribute attack.
	Effects: Replenishes allies' health, restoring Musou if successful.
	Donation Log	Defeat Okuni while under the effects of an attack speed power-up.
	Effects: Buffs allies with multiple power-ups, restoring Musou if successful.
	Secret Scroll	Defeat Kunoichi while under the effects of a speed power-up.
	Effects: Conjures doubles to fight in coordination with the user.
	Saika Cloak	Defeat Magoichi with a chain of 100 hits or more.
	Effects: Provides the user with cover fire via gun shots.

	Naoe Scroll	Defeat Kanetsugu while the health gauge is still green.
	Effects: Neutralizes the fortified area's effects for 15 seconds.

	Effects: Triggers explosions each time the user attacks.

	Effects: Generates tornadoes each time the user attacks, drawing in more enemies in the process.
	Silver Helmet	Defeat Kanbei with an ice attribute attack.
	Effects: Neutralizes the fortified area's effects for 30 seconds.
	Exquisite Censer	Defeat Muneshige while under the effects of a defense power-up.
	Effects: Increases defense by 250% for 90 seconds.

	One Heart Monument	Defeat Motonari with a chain of 100 hits or more.
	Effects: Surrounds the user with arrows that lower the defense of nearby foes.
	Uesugi Records	Defeat Aya with an ice attribute attack.
	Effects: Increases allies' health and defense, restoring Musou if successful.
	Nihon-gō	Defeat Masanori while in Rage mode.
	Effects: Taunts surrounding enemies, decreasing their defense while increasing their attack.

	Effects: Imbues attacks with the frost attribute and increases attack range for 30 seconds.
	Blood Red Armor	Defeat Naotora with a wind attribute attack.
