Redwood (known as Red Woord in Samurai Warriors 2 is the strongest steed in the Average type category for horses. Its name in the Japanese script is "Sakura No" (桜野), a horse that was favored by Hidetada Tokugawa. It was given to him by Masazumi Honda and saw service at the Siege of Osaka Castle.
How to Unlock
- Samurai Warriors 2: Purchase at the shop for 5,000 gold.
- Samurai Warriors 2: Empires:
- Samurai Warriors 3: Saddle randomly appears as a treasure during stages.
- Samurai Warriors Chronicles: Buy at the shop for 8,000 gold.
- Kessen III: Purchase at the shop for 6,800 gold during chapters 6, 8, 11 and 13. It will make the items dropped during Rampages turn into swords.
