Makoto Furukawa is a Japanese voice actor. Formerly associated with Space Craft Entertainment, he went freelance on September 2018 before joining his current agency.
When Furukawa was 5 years old, he became interested in voice acting after listening to Hikaru Midorikawa's performance of Heero Yuy in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. This led him to attend Fukuoka School of Music for his chosen career after learning of Midorikawa being a special lecturer there. After graduating, he formally entered the industry in 2011. On July 2016, he started a broadcasting program called Nandemo Hero! Yukke to Mabo alongside Yūsuke Kobayashi.
Known for playing younger male roles, Furukawa has voiced Taiju Ōki in Dr. Stone, Hatsuharu Sohma in the 2019 animated reboot of Fruits Basket, and Yujin Ozora in Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters.
