Hiroko Ushida is a Japanese voice actor. During her high school years, Ushida fell in love with acting after joining her school's drama club. Though she halted her performances to prepare for Meiji University's entrance exams, her goal of one day becoming an actor still remained. She found her chance by enrolling in Eizo Techno Academia as a stage acting student.
While receiving guidance on the technical aspects of acting, she became intrigued with the usage of microphones to perform and decided to take up dubbing and narration classes along the way. This curiosity further shaped her future career as she often expressed an interest in dubbing Western movies despite her inexperience at the time. She eventually graduated in March 2008.
Known for her rather powerful voice, a few of the roles Ushida has done so far include Marron in Dragon Ball Kai, Catherine Ricci in Time Crisis 5, and Marie Bennett in Valkyria Chronicles 4.
