Yuuma Uchida is a Japanese voice actor. His older sister Maaya works in the same profession as him. He was designated Best Male Newcomer and Best Male Lead Actor in the 11th and 13th Seiyu Awards respectively.
Uchida developed an interest in voice acting due to being a fan of the Sakura Wars series which spawned countless of live-action events featuring the voice actors themselves. Thus, he decided to take up voice acting as a career and enrolled himself in the Nihon Narration Acting Institute. After becoming an official voice actor in 2012, he went on to launch his music debut in May 30, 2018 under the King Records label.
He is close friends with fellow voice actor Kaito Ishikawa. One of his favorite phrases is "you can accomplish anything if you just do it".
As a voice actor, Uchida cites Tomokazu Seki as his inspiration for doing passionate and earnest roles. A few of the roles he has already voiced are Kazuomi Ōga in ReLIFE, Seiichirou Minamoto in Sanrio Boys, and Rock Howard in The King of Fighters XIV.
