Wataru Hatano is a Japanese voice actor and singer. He is married to fellow voice actor Mai Hashimoto.
Inspired by Koichi Yamadera, he graduated from Amusement Media Academy's voice talent division and made his official debut in 2001. Years later, he won Best Male Rookie in the 2nd Seiyu Awards.
Hatano tends to voice young male characters or brotherly figures. When providing voice overs for adult content, he often uses the pseudonym Haruno Kaze. A few of his roles include Black Lightning in Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Morley in Visions of Mana, and Mithras in Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux.
