Ren Amamiya (雨宮 蓮, Amamiya Ren), also known in the Persona 5 manga as Akira Kurusu (来栖 暁, Kurusu Akira) is the protagonist of Persona 5 Strikers and the leader of the Phantom Thieves.

Joker is the protagonist of the Persona 5 series, and is a silent protagonist, much like other Megami Tensei protagonists. He is a guest of the Velvet Room. Half a year after the events of Persona 5 Royal, he and the Phantom Thieves of Heart band together to go on a road trip across japan, when suddenly the Metaverse seemingly returns, and it's up to the Phantom Thieves of Heart to figure out the reasoning behind the resurgence of the Metaverse, and how it ties into the popular EMMA application that has swept Japan.
