Wataru Hatano

Wataru Hatano (羽多野 渉, Hatano Wataru, born March 13, 1982 in Asahi, Nagano) is a Japanese voice actor and singer affiliated with 81 Produce. He is married to fellow voice actor Mai Hashimoto.

Inspired by Koichi Yamadera, he graduated from Amusement Media Academy's voice talent division and made his official debut in 2001. Years later, he won Best Male Rookie in the 2nd Seiyu Awards.

Hatano tends to voice young male characters or brotherly figures. When providing voice overs for adult content, he often uses the pseudonym Haruno Kaze. A few of his roles include Black Lightning in Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Fenrich in Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten, and Mithras in Strange Journey Redux.
