Yumiri Hanamori is a Japanese voice actor. She first joined the entertainment industry in 2013 under Pony Canyon.
Hanamori took an interest in acting and anime during her second year of junior high, having been forced to suspend her tennis activities due to multiple knee injuries. A friend of hers from the tennis club convinced the young girl to apply for a voice acting audition held by Pony Canyon. She agreed to sign up and unexpectedly won, leading to her eventual employment with the agency.
In 2015, Hanamori later became a radio personality and expanded her activities to idol performances in public. However, her aforementioned injuries flared up and she was forced to indefinitely give up on dancing live. Hanamori happens to be quite fond of carbonated drinks, chicken dishes, and carrots.
When it comes to Hanamori's voice acting, she tends to be typecast as sweet ingenues or young boys. She hopes to one day match her idol Junko Takeuchi's proficiency in breathing life to male roles. Some of her character portrayals include Nadeshiko Kagamihara in Laid-Back Camp, Execution Division Apprentice in Akudama Drive, and Ai Narata in Kageki Shojo!!.
