Fighting Style
While similar to her sister Da Qiao at first glance, Xiao Qiao's differences become apparent as her fighting style is tailored more towards one-on-one duels. Although she has a few crowd clearing moves at her disposal, they are not as effective as her fifth and sixth charges, both of which work especially well against enemy officers. Once Xiao Qiao gains access to her fourth weapon, she becomes a force to be reckoned with so long as players can correctly aim her sixth charge properly. Positioning is also an important factor when mastering her Musou attack, though players can make things easier for themselves by executing it on enemies near walls.

True Speed Charge: True Speed + : Performs a stronger version of Xiao Qiao's dash charge attack. Can inflict whatever elemental attribute her weapon currently has.
Grapple Attacks
Grapple Attack: L1 + : Does a quick swing with the left fan before resuming the default grapple stance. If the attack connects, Xiao Qiao will perform an uppercut with her right fan and smack the opponent with the other one while facing the other direction.
Grapple Charge: L1 + : Lands a leftward slash by mainly using the right fan. Should the attack connect successfully, Xiao Qiao will tumble towards the opponent and hit their groin with a handstand kick followed by a clockwise spin attack to the face with both fans.
Counter Attack: Counter + L1 + : Flicks away enemy attacks by raising both fans upward.
Counter Charge: Counter + L1 + : Does a rapid spin slash to thwart enemy hits.
Deadlock Attack: Deadlock + : Upon winning a deadlock, Xiao Qiao first delivers a leftward swing, a blunt jab with both fans, and a spin swipe while crouching. She then climbs unto the opponent, forcing them to carry her by surprise, and lands a sudden fan slice that leaves them crumpling down on the ground.

Horse Charge Attack: : Throws right fan to the right, causing it to encircle Xiao Qiao and her horse before returning back. Can be performed while in the middle of doing the normal horse attack string.

Fighting Style
While Xiao Qiao still uses two fans as her weapon of choice, much of her fighting style has been overhauled completely for this title. Many of her attacks incorporate some of her older sister's moveset from the past game, though their range is minimal without the Renbu gauge reaching its final level. Despite this setback, she has the highest attack power among the female cast upon reaching level 50.

Strong Attack 1 (Armor): Lands a diagonal slash before sending out an orange twister to the front. Inflicts 250% attack damage in the process. Its bonus effect grants nearby friendly units a shield that adds a 9% bonus to their health, a 30% damage reduction, and a minor super armor effect. Strong Attack 1 (Gather): Fans self leisurely to unleash a massive whirlwind covering Xiaoqiao, inflicting surrounding foes with 350% attack damage. Its bonus effect deals an additional 18% damage to all enemy troops within range and pulls them closer to the user. The effect itself triggers every 10 seconds.
Strong Attack 2: Flings fan up as it briefly produces a wide gust of wind to send nearby foes airborne. Deals 150% attack damage to them as well.
Strong Attack 3: Throws fan and causes it to spin in place for a moment. It then revolves behind Xiaoqiao and back to her hand again. Causes 180% attack damage to foes in front.
Strong Attack 4: Manipulates fan into rotating around Xiaoqiao once she tosses it forward. Knocks away nearby foes and inflicts 210% attack damage on them.
Strong Attack 5: Spins in mid-air while surrounded by a large orange whirlwind. Flings foes to the air while inflicting 290% attack damage on them.
Strong Attack 6: Uses fan to grab unto a nearby foe. If it connects, Xiaoqiao dances around the enemy briefly before hitting them with a spin slash and an instantaneous petal whirlwind conjured by shutting the fan down near the end of the move. Fighting Style
Her Online Z incarnation has some notable benefits that the iron fan moveset used by players does not have. First off, her third charge attack will send out multiple fireballs that can be manually directed rather than the swirling orange vortex usually pumped out by the attack. Her Musou attack is incredibly useful for crowd clearing, though it should also be reserved for enemy commanders if any are present.

Aerial Musou Attack - Meteor Strike (爆裂砲; lit. "Explosive Cannon"): : Hurls a large fireball on the ground, creating a massive explosion as Xiaoqiao clumsily lands on her butt. The range of the blast has been expanded even more in this title.
Rage Attack: Smacks enemy with weapon using both hands while hopping forward repeatedly. The attack ends with Xiaoqiao hurling her fan in a small circular formation before emitting a powerful energy burst.
True Rage Attack: After accumulating 100 or more hits during a Rage attack, Xiaoqiao will run wildly while unleashing fiery windmill strikes continuously, finishing the attack cycle with an electric-imbued fan toss near the end. The flailing motion is derived from her True Speed attack in Dynasty Warriors 6.

Unique Trigger Attack: R1 + : Performs a leaping spin attack followed by a somersaulting strike to cast down foes. Combines aspects of the paired fans moveset's second charge in the previous installment and Xiaoqiao's second EX attack from Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires.
Special Technique: R1 + : Spins forward with fans held outward continuously while enveloped within a vicious circle of wind. Based on Xiaoqiao's first EX attack from Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires.
Musou Attack: : Runs wildly while continuously unleashing windmill strikes with both fans in alternating order. Xiaoqiao then finishes the move by performing an ascending spin slash that briefly produces a tornado around her. Surrounding foes are instantly swept away from the attack while sustaining wind damage in the process. Combines aspects of Xiaoqiao's True Rage attack and Whirling Fists Musou from the eighth game.
Aerial Musou Attack: : Flips to the ground with both fans held vertically like a buzz saw covered in flames, then slams rear forward after landing to trigger a fiery eruption radiating from Xiaoqiao. Considered an adapted version of her Dance of Fans Musou attack from Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires.
Horse Maneuvers
Summon Horse: L2: Summon horse to the battlefield. Holding L2 as the horse approaches will allow the character to automatically mount them.
Auto-Run: Riding Mode + L2: Automatically runs towards a specified destination. If a destination has not been set, the horse will instead run towards the location of the player's currently selected mission.
Sprint: Riding Mode + Direction + R1: Causes horse to run at a faster pace. Doing so depletes their stamina each time.
Jump: Riding Mode + Direction + R2: Causes horse to jump high while running.
Horse Fast Attack: Riding Mode + : Performs a fast and seamless attack while mounted. The attack itself varies depending on what type of weapon is equipped and whether the enemy is grounded or airborne.
Horse Trigger Attack: Riding Mode + : Performs an attack that sends enemies flying into the air. May vary depending on what type of weapon is equipped.
Horse Musou Attack: Riding Mode + : Causes horse to sprint by consuming Musou instead of stamina.
Dismount Horse: Riding Mode + : Dismounts from horse and resumes default fighting stance.
Bow Maneuvers
Shooting Mode: 🡻: Pulls out bow and assumes archery stance. Can be cancelled by tapping 🡻 again.
Switch Arrows: 🡸 or 🡺: Switches between different types of arrows.
Bow Attack: Shooting Mode + : Fires current arrow at a target. Can lock on targets by tapping R3.
Secret Plan - Lesser Whirlwind (小華旋風; lit. "Small Flowery Whirlwind"): Unleashes a weak wind attack and fills secret plan gauge for plans not in use by a low amount.

Unique Political Ploy - Tuntian: Increases achievements of one officer by 1,500 while gaining supplies.
Normal Attack: Performs unique flow attack string from the base game using the paired fans. Available by default.
Aerial Attack: Performs aerial flow attack string from the base game.
Repel Attack: Performs knock-down trigger attack from the base game to repel foes.
Launch Attack: Performs launch trigger attack from the base game to lift foes into the air. Can be followed up with aerial flow hit string activated by repeatedly tapping the normal attack icon.
Stun Attack: Performs stun trigger attack from the base game to daze foes momentarily. Can be followed up with stun flow hit string activated by repeatedly tapping the normal attack icon.
Guard Break Attack: Performs guard break attack from the base game to break the enemy's guard. Can be followed up with down flow hit string activated by repeatedly tapping the normal attack icon.
Chain Attack: Performs down flow attack from the base game to repeatedly strike at foes. Does heavy damage, but cannot deplete the target's spirit. This move is mostly available to attack-type versions of Xiaoqiao.
Endurance Attack: Performs separating attack from the base game while generating a protective aura that temporarily boosts defense. This move is mostly available to defense-type versions of Xiaoqiao.
Sneak Attack: Performs dash attack from the base game to inflict heavy damage on the opponent's spirit. This move is mostly available to speed-type versions of Xiaoqiao.
Missile Attack: Leaps into the air and fires a projectile that turns into a large tornado upon hitting the ground. Does decent damage from a distance, but cannot deplete the target's spirit. This move is mostly available to snipe-type versions of Xiaoqiao.
Recover Attack: Performs separating attack from the base game while generating a healing circle that gradually restores health. Has no elemental variations with each upgraded version. This move is mostly available to special-type versions of Xiaoqiao.

Unique Attack 1 - Swirling Fists (旋回拳): Performs special technique from the base game. Available by default.
Unique Attack 2 - Wind Dance Floral Fans (風踊華扇): Performs unique trigger from the base game using the paired fans. Initially available for UR rank versions of its user, this move can be learned upon reaching level 170.
Musou Attack: Performs Musou attack from base game minus the looping animation. Consumes one full Musou gauge.
Aerial Musou Attack: Performs aerial Musou attack from base game. Consumes one full Musou gauge.
Super Musou Attack: Performs full Musou attack from base game. Consumes two full Musou gauges.
Auxiliary Attacks
Counter Attack: Performs counter attack from the base game by tapping the orange counter icon near the opponent once it pops up.
Finishing Attack: Performs finishing attack from the base game by tapping the golden finisher icon that appears once the opponent's spirit has been fully depleted.
Normal Evasion: Does a normal evasion maneuver on the ground to avoid enemy attacks. Can only be performed by attack-type and special-type versions of Xiaoqiao.
Swift Evasion: Hovers in the air to avoid enemy attacks in an instant. Can only be performed by speed-type and snipe-type versions of Xiaoqiao.
Piercing Evasion: Charges forth while hunched to avoid enemy attacks while dealing chip damage to foes blocking the way. Can only be performed by defense-type versions of Xiaoqiao.
