Wataru Takagi is a Japanese voice actor. He studied at the Katsuta Voice Actor's Academy and made his debut in 1987. Also a stage actor, he participated in productions organized by the Akapera Club Troupe and has even done skits with fellow colleagues Kappei Yamaguchi and Tomokazu Seki.
As a voice actor, Takagi's vocal versatility and thespian experience has enabled to take on a wide variety of roles. He is also notable for his proficiency in ad-libbing. Some of his roles include Eikichi Onizuka in Great Teacher Onizuka, Daffy Duck in Looney Tunes, and Okuyasu Nijimura in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. In 2016 he also made his debut as an actor, playing Oyamada Shigemasa in NHK Taiga drama Sanada Maru.
