Wally Wingert

From Koei Tecmo Wiki

Wally Wingert (born May 6, 1961 in Des Moines, Iowa) is an American actor, voice actor, and singer. He used to work in radio before becoming part of the dubbing industry.

Raised in South Dakota, Wingert enjoyed performing in school plays and impersonating Muppets characters. To fulfill his dream of entertaining others, he became a radio DJ under the moniker Dennis Jimenez while refining his other talents. Unfortunately, he was not able to properly support himself due to the low pay, leaving him no choice but to find other opportunities in Los Angeles. There, he resumed his radio work starting with the Westwood One Radio Network and later KTWV.

Wingert eventually moved over to voice acting after years of working as a radio personality. His hobbies are drawing, listening to rock music, stargazing, and collecting autographs of his favorite actors. Being a fan of Batman, he once met his idol Adam West at the Director's Guild, later reuniting with him to work on two animated films for the series in 2016 and 2017. He is also actively involved in numerous charities.

Much of the characters Wingert voices tend to be either fierce or sardonic. He has lent his performances to Rufus Shinra in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Cervantes de Leon in some of the Soulcalibur games, and Wild Tiger in Tiger & Bunny.
