Significant Battles
For the SW characters, I'm more concerned about listing if "so-an-so" was actually there historically rather than their "exploits". This is to mainly battle the folktales and the stories made up by Koei and other companies. Especially regarding someone like Hanzo. Iga can't be considered a significant achievement either since, despite popular belief, this Hanzo actually being there is disputed. Tadakatsu is similar to Hanzo in that respect as well. He was in a lot of battles for Ieyasu, but his achievements in each battle aren't really put into the spotlight -even with his unscathed and honored reputation.
So I say we stop trying to base the listings on their "significance" because then we'd have way too many people arguing about it. Being in the listed battles historically is significant enough, wouldn't you say? It took a lot to even be remembered during that time period. In fact, that's the whole point of the historical sections in character articles and battles: to sort out all of the "how?", "why?", "what if?" conjectures. Sake neko 03:39, March 26, 2010 (UTC)
- Sunsuo isn't a place or name of a battle though. It's the name of the alliance and the Sunsuo battle within the game takes place around Suruga. You can keep it like that if you want though. Sake neko 09:18, March 27, 2010 (UTC)
