Tomomi Nagashima

Tomomi Nagashima (永島 知美, Nagashima Tomomi) is a CG designer who has been working for Koei Tecmo since 2014. Before taking up 3D sculpting, Nagashima used to do analog drawing in art school. Her original aim was to become an illustrator for a design company, preferably one that specialized in book covers. She did not imagine herself working for a video game company like Koei Tecmo until her friends received job offers from them. Upon joining them herself, she was surprised by the company's collaborative efforts with various IPs, having initially thought they were more focused on historical games.

Although Nagashima struggled with 3D modeling at first, she gradually improved her abilities by following and understanding the steps used by more senior designers. This led her to appreciate the other divisions more as their efforts helped breathe life into the models she herself made. When working on a new project, Nagashima tries to find hints around her for inspiration and challenges herself with tasks to make work more exciting.
