Tara Strong

From Koei Tecmo Wiki

Tara Strong is a Canadian actor, voice actor, and singer. Married to fellow actor Craig Strong since May 14, 2000, both of them reside in Los Angeles with their two sons. The couple once owned a business called VoiceStarz that functioned as a training service for people wanting to enter the dubbing industry.

When she was 4 years old, Strong developed an interest in acting after doing a solo for one of her school's productions. Owing to her Jewish heritage, she grew up performing with the Yiddish Theater and other Jewish-owned troupes. She officially began her career as an actor at the age of 13 by landing both musical and TV roles. Around that time, she came to befriend future colleague Cree Summer.

After Strong took improvisation classes at The Second City's Toronto branch, she later moved to Hollywood for more acting opportunities. She gained a number of voice-over roles at the time and made a name for herself to the point where she was made a nominee for both the Annie Award and Daytime Emmy. Despite expressing a desire to appear in more films, she is usually swamped with voice work.

Strong has used her fame in social media to raise awareness for various causes like children's cancer, animal rights, anti-bullying, and much more; this earned her the Shorty Award in 2013. She also has two rescue bunnies named Stasha and Potato.

Strong's vocal performances are usually reserved for cheerful girls or energetic young boys. She has also been able to play more deadpan characters with just as much proficiency. When doing voice-overs, she generally prefers having group sessions because it enables her to make dialogues sound more natural than recording lines alone. Some of her roles include Bubbles in the original Powerpuff Girls series, Presea Combatir in Tales of Symphonia, and Twilight Sparkle in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
