Tadayasu Maeno was a general of Ishida Mitsunari during the battle at Sekigahara.
Role in Games
In Samurai Warriors 4, at Sekigahara. When he learns that Hiroie Kikkawa is about to leave the battlefield, he tries to chase him.
In Saihai no Yukue, Tadayasu appears in chapter 2. He and Sakon work together to stop Hosokawa's army. He is killed by Okatsu and Tadakatsu in chapter 3.
Historical Information
Maeno Tadayasu was Maeno Nagayasu's son-in-law and Toyotomi Hidetsugu's vassal. After Toyotomi Hidetsugu was forced to commit suicide by Hideyoshi, Tadayasu was one of Hidetsugu's vassals who has been spared. After this event, he served Ishida Mitsunari and received income of 5,000 Koku.
According to some sources, he was killed by Tokugawa army at Sekigahara along with his friend, Ōba Tosa (大場土佐). Other sources say, however, that he survived the battle and disappeared after it's conclusion.
