Tōru Ōkawa is a Japanese voice actor. Being an art graduate, he began his career as a stage actor in 1984 before switching to voice acting in 1992. He has a daughter who was born in 2005.
Ōkawa's distinct voice allows him to portray different types of characters ranging from abrasive youths to cool-headed older men. His roles include Hunson Abadeer in Adventure Time, Nikolai Nikolanikov in Bravely Second: End Layer, and Roy Mustang in Fullmetal Alchemist. He also fills in for roles played by late voice actors Kaneto Shiozawa and Takkō Ishimori.
