Shigeru Chiba

From Koei Tecmo Wiki

Shigeru Chiba is a Japanese voice actor and sound effects director. Prior to his voice acting career, he was once a stage actor and stunt performer.

He moved to Tokyo to complete his high school education while supporting himself as a factory worker. At some point, he passed an audition for a local troupe which led him to appear in various TV dramas. In 1976, he made voice acting his main career, though there are times when he makes limited on-screen appearances.

Being a veteran in the field, Chiba's baritone voice and experienced acting allow him to excel in almost any masculine role; he often provides advice to his juniors and even mentored Megumi Hayashibara. His most prominent vocal skill is ad-libbing. He has voiced Emperor Pilaf in Dragon Ball, Sebas Tian in Overlord, and Kazuma Kuwabara in Yu Yu Hakusho.
