Satoshi Hino is a Japanese voice actor. Having entered the dubbing industry since 1997, he recently married fellow voice actor Saki Nakajima.
Despite being born in the United States, Hino was never able to learn English because his family moved back to Japan when he was just 5. He disliked it when people assumed he could fluently speak the language, but has since regretted not mastering it enough.
He originally wanted to become a stage actor, but ended up enjoying voice overs more after helping dub ER in Japanese. He looks up to his senior Daisuke Namikawa.
While Hino was limited to voicing young male characters at first, casting directors now turn to him for roles that require a deeper vocal pitch. He has lent his performances to Noritoshi Kamo in Jujutsu Kaisen, Sai in Naruto, and Kyojuro Rengoku in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
