Keys: Square Normal Attack • Triangle Charge Attack Circle Musou X Jump/Mount
Main Attacks
Charge Attack 1: Triangle: Breaks through the enemy's guard by performing a spin slash done counterclockwise.
Charge Attack 2: Square Triangle: Performs an upward strike using right gauntlet to send foes airborne.
Charge Attack 3: Square Square Triangle: Hurls gauntlets forward in a boomerang-like fashion, causing them to telekinetically twirl on top of each other before returning to Meng Huo's hands. Stuns enemies and can be rotated for additional coverage.
Charge Attack 4: Square Square Square Triangle: Sends surrounding enemies flying by performing a powerful body slam. Inflicts lightning elemental damage if Meng Huo is equipped with his fifth weapon in Xtreme Legends.
Charge Attack 5: Square Square Square Square Triangle: Performs a scooping swing with both gauntlets raised up. Foes launched by this attack can be forcefully cast down with a two-handed aerial bop by tapping Triangle again.
Charge Attack 6: Square Square Square Square Square Triangle: Slams the ground with enough force to produce a quake effect that disperse large enemy crowds. Inflicts fire elemental damage if Meng Huo is equipped with his fourth weapon.
Normal Attack 1: Square Square Square Square: Does a rightward swing using left gauntlet, a leftward swipe with right gauntlet, a hook punch to the upper right, and a round strike towards the left.
Normal Attack 2: Square Square Square Square Square: Similar to the first normal attack string, but changes the fourth hit sequence into an outward slash using both gauntlets while adding a clapping strike.
Normal Attack 3: Square Square Square Square Square Square: Similar to the second normal attack string, but includes a spinning swipe towards the right.
Musou Attacks
Musou Attack: Circle: Furiously punches the ground repeatedly to cause multiple quakes to erupt around the area, ending the barrage with one final slam using both gauntlets together.
True Musou Attack: Low Health + Circle: Similar to the normal Musou animation, but adds a few more rapid slams before initiating the finishing motion.
Auxiliary Attacks
Dash Attack: Dashing + Square: Tackles foes while dropping on the ground.

Power Guard: L1 + Square: Pushes an attacking enemy back to create some distance from them.

Fighting Style

Meng Huo is a very slow attacker and runner, often forcing players to find means to fix his weaknesses. His attack power is perhaps equal to or even higher than Lu Bu's, though it is risky to face large crowds in harder battles without coming prepared. His Musou attack is powerful, yet it is balanced out by his small Musou gauge which can be rectified by equipping a high-leveled Dragon Amulet.

Main Attacks
Charge Attack 1: Triangle: Meng Huo gets down on all fours and dashes forward, tackling any enemy impeding his path. The dashes will stagger foes while the body tackle at the end of the move leaves targets in a stunned state.
Charge Attack 2: Square Triangle: Performs an upward strike using right gauntlet to send foes airborne.
Charge Attack 3: Square Square Triangle: Does a series of clockwise spin slashes aimed slightly away from stomach, leaving foes dazed once the assault ends. Tap Triangle repeatedly for additional hits.
Charge Attack 4: Square Square Square Triangle: Sends surrounding enemies flying by performing a powerful body slam.

Dynasty Warriors (PSP)

Meng Huo gains additional abilities and traits in this title.

Ability - Sunny Boy: Prevents rain or snow from occurring most of the time.
Boost - Enlarge: Increases the player's weapon attack range by 150%.
Skill - Fire Spell: Imbues all of the player's attacks with the fire element for 15 seconds.

Samurai Warriors: State of War

Meng Huo gains an additional skill in this title.

Sub-Officer Skill - Loot: Views locations of buried treasure in enemy territory.
Charge Attack 5: Does a bear hug that leaves foes momentarily dazed.
Musou Attack: Circle: The animations are the same as in Dynasty Warriors 4, though it cannot be stopped until the player's Musou gauge is fully depleted. Similar to the Musou attacks employed by the Samurai Warriors cast, a shockwave burst is added at the end of the finisher.
Roll: R: Rolls on the ground to evade enemy attacks.

Fighting Style

Meng Huo's first charge attack in this game enables him to resort to hit-and-run tactics when up against stronger foes.

When controlled by the AI, Meng Huo's charge attacks will be imbued with the fire element by default. In Empires, he uses the lightning element instead.

Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires

Meng Huo gains additional abilities and traits in this title.

Weapon Type: Unique
Skill - Rush: Focuses on defeating nearby enemy officers.
Proposed Policy 1 - Beastmasters: Employs a beastmaster unit and takes them into battle with the player's forces. Valid only for 1 turn.
Proposed Policy 2 - Rally Troops: Fully increases the morale of all allied units temporarily regardless of the player's supply lines.

Dynasty Warriors: Online

Although Meng Huo's moveset is available for player avatars to make use of, the actual character can be temporarily controlled by using their corresponding spirit item.

Obstacle Effects
Obstacle Effect 1 - Stone Barrage: Drops three boulders on the enemy troops throughout the battlefield.
Obstacle Effect 2 - Great Rally: Rallies the user's troops, temporarily increasing their speed and attack power greatly. Only available to rare card version.
Obstacle Effect 3 - Fog: Enshrouds the opponent within a dark fog, limiting their range of attack. Only available to rare card version.
Main Attacks
Normal Attack 1: Commands elephant to swing trunk at nearby targets to knock them down.
Normal Attack 2: Commands elephant to swing trunk back and forth while sending out dirt.
Strong Attack: Causes elephant to let out a powerful roar and rush forward in a stampeding motion. Nearby targets will be flung at a very far distance.

Warriors Orochi

Modified Attacks
Charge Attack 1: Triangle: Functions similarly to its base game incarnation, but can inflict elemental damage. This is no longer the case in the sequel.
Charge Attack 2: Square Triangle: Functions similarly to its base game incarnation, but can break through the enemy's guard due it being given an innate flash attribute. The sequel reverts it back into a blockable attack.
Charge Attack 6: Square Square Square Square Square Triangle: Functions similarly to its base game incarnation, but can no longer inflict elemental damage. This is rectified in the sequel which also expands its overall range.
New Attacks
Special Attack: R1: Grabs the nearest enemy and pounds them on the floor back and forth three times, creating several tremors in the process. Consumes 60 Musou points. Its base power has been dampened in the sequel for balancing purposes.
Hyper Armor: Prevents enemies from interrupting combos with normal attacks.
Team Abilities
Ability 1 - Power: Increases attack of Power-type characters.
Ability 2 - Vitality: Increases the team's life.
Ability 3 - Karma: Increases the chances of finding better weapons and more items on the battlefield.
Ability 4 - Acclaim: Increases experience points gained.

Warriors Orochi 2

Team Attacks
Assist Attack: Counter + L1 + Square or Triangle: Meng Huo performs his normal Musou finisher to assist a teammate. Consumes a portion of Musou.
Triple Attack 1: Low Health + L2 + R2 + Circle: Crushes the ground with enough impact to cause gales to come rising within range.
Triple Attack 2: Low Health + L2 + R2 + Circle: Forces air currents to rise up by violently smashing the ground.
Triple Attack 3: Low Health + L2 + R2 + Circle: Quickly slams the floor to release a large pillar of air.
Triple Attack Finisher: Meng Huo launches a flurry of short but quick strikes, then does a bear hug motion. As the whole team finishes up, a bright pillar of light generates at the intersection of their attack range and engulfs the surrounding area. Enemies caught by the blast sustain massive damage while being flung to the air and set on fire.
Strategy - Command: Raises the morale of allied forces.

Fighting Style

When controlled by the AI in Dynasty Warriors 5, most of Meng Huo's charge attacks will be imbued with the fire element by default.

Main Attacks
Square Renbu String 1: Does a hefty swing to the left, a tremor-producing smash, a wide circular swipe towards the right, and a spin slash.
Square Renbu String 2: Similar to the first Square Renbu string, but adds a rapid punch with left fist, a wide spin swipe, a pillar slam that creates a tremor, and a spinning pole vault kick.
Square Renbu String 3: Similar to the second Square Renbu string, but extends the combo by tossing pillar to the ground while in mid-air, causing it to violently erupt. Upon descending, Meng Huo smashes the ground with both fists before pounding his chest repeatedly to send out minor shockwaves. The cycle ends with him letting out a fierce war cry that releases a massive burst of energy.
Square Renbu String Infinite: Similar to the third Square Renbu string, but includes a combo extension in which Meng Huo gets down on all fours and rushes forth like a wild beast while making loud animal noises and being shrouded in dashing bursts. This move is adapted from Meng Huo's first charge attack in older Dynasty Warriors titles.
Triangle Renbu String 1: Pulls out a giant mushroom dripping with poisonous spores, then swings it around horizontally on the ground and in mid-air diagonally.
Triangle Renbu String 2: Similar to the first Triangle Renbu string, but adds a fierce turning swipe with giant mushroom.
Triangle Renbu String 3: Similar to the second Triangle Renbu string, but extends the combo by doing a spinning handstand while balancing mushroom as it rains down multiple spores.
Triangle Renbu String Infinite: Similar to the third Triangle Renbu string, but adds an extension in which Meng Huo sucks in some of the spores in his mouth before spewing them out in a frontal arc. Due to ingesting some of the poison, Meng Huo becomes briefly dazed before recovering instantly.
Charge Attack: Holding Triangle: Unearths a coconut tree from the ground before spinning it rapidly to make coconuts rain down, then hurls it a few distances away.
Musou Attacks
Musou Attack: Circle: Does an empowered version of the first to third Square Renbu string repeatedly, then digs up a coconut tree and slams its head on the ground. The whole tree is then hurled forward as it spits out coconuts around the area. The attack finally ends with Meng Huo leaping up and punching the floor to trigger a wide bursting slam.
True Musou Attack: Low Health + Circle: Similar to the regular Musou attack, but adds the fire attribute to each hit.
Auxiliary Attacks
Dash Attack: Dashing + Square: Flips into the air and stomps the ground with enough force to produce a wide tremor.
Dash Charge: Dashing + Triangle: Spins around and hurls pillar forward as it spins horizontally to a certain distance like a boomerang. Once the pillar disappears, Meng Huo simply grabs another one underneath the ground.
Jump Attack: X Square: Dies a circular swing to the left while in the air.
Jump Charge: X Triangle: Flips in mid-air before diving down with pillar held to the front horizontally. The sudden impact causes the ground to violently erupt.
Evasion: R1: Tumbles forward while balancing on top of pillar.
Special Move - Swift Attack: L2: Maximizes the user's Renbu gauge to infinite temporarily and prevents them from being flinched by enemy attacks. Also increases damage output if activated with low health.
Grapple Attacks
Grapple Attack: L1 + Square: Lands a hefty swing to the left. If the attack connects successfully, the opponent will be sent airborne before being picked up by Meng Huo who performs a hammer throw on them. Once the victim is tossed to the ground a few distances away, the ensuing impact produces a quaking tremor.
Grapple Charge: L1 + Triangle: Hunches down to the right and thrusts pillar as it stays on the ground. Upon hitting the enemy, Meng Huo will jab their gut with the pillar before sending both high into the air. He then leaps up and grabs his victim in time to perform a descending piledriver before moving away as the pillar drops head first to the target's torso.
Counter Attack: Counter + L1 + Square: Lifts pillar horizontally to thwart enemy hits.
Counter Charge: Counter + L1 + Triangle: Performs a clockwise spin strike.
Deadlock Attack: Deadlock + Square: Upon winning a deadlock, Meng Huo will hit the opponent with two broad swings to the front.
Horse Attacks
Horse Charge Attack: Triangle: Slams pillar on the right, causing it to produce a quaking tremor. Can be performed while in the middle of doing the normal horse attack string.
Horse Normal Attack: Square Square Square Square Square Square: Launches slow rotating swings to the right side while on horseback. The number of hits can be increased by filling up the Renbu gauge.
Horse Musou Attack: Circle: Swings pillar repeatedly on the right before slamming it violently on the ground to create a tremor.
Officer Skills
Adrenaline: Doubles attack power for 30 seconds when knocked down and near death.
Fire Resist: Nullifies fire elemental attacks.
Arrow Guard: Reduces arrow damage taken by half.
Spirit: Increases the amount of Musou gained.
Beastmaster: Allows character to temporarily befriend tigers and wolves, enabling them to fight as allies.
Bonus Special: Receives one tome for defeating 300 enemies each time.
Pouch: Allows character to carry up to 2 tomes while making them appear more frequently.
Tome Skills
Overawe: Reduces defense of nearby enemies upon activating special move.
Battlecry: Stuns nearby enemies upon activating special move.
Destroy: Increases damage inflicted to objects by Swift Attack.
Pulverize: Greatly increases damage inflicted to objects by Swift Attack.

Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires

Meng Huo gains additional abilities and traits in this title.

Special Move - True Speed: Allows the user to continuously perform running attacks while receiving a slight boost in attack power and hit speed. Also increases speed of horse if activated while riding. Meng Huo dashes forward on all fours as he carries his pillar on his right shoulder.
True Speed Attack: True Speed + Square: Violently flips forward while releasing a beastly war cry.
True Speed Charge: True Speed + Triangle: Does a stronger version of the dash charge attack.
Officer Card - Raging Hunger (飽くなき執念; lit. "Insatiable Obsession"): Decreases player's attack when invading, though troops are fully restored after battle. Effective for 3 months.

Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce

Meng Huo is affiliated with the pillar in this title.

Skills
Fury Awakening Aura: Causes red energy to swirl around while causing a fiery fissure to erupt during the fury transformation process. Can be imbued with additional effects via certain chi skills.
Support Skill - Health Recovery: Restores an ally's health by a moderate amount.
Team Ability - Morale Boost: Decreases the amount of points taken off the player's team gauge.
Card: Lord Type, Metal Element, +25 (+20 in Multi Raid 2) to Workshop
Enemy-Only Attacks
Shockwave Attack: Unleashes a small radial shockwave to repel nearby foes while providing additional breathing room for incoming attacks. Only used in Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce.

Fighting Style

In Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires, Meng Huo uses a variety of heavy makeshift weapons; these include a large stone pillar, a tropical tree, and a gigantic poisonous mushroom. The stone pillar is his default weapon which he uses to swipe at enemies and slam the ground, creating large shockwaves. The tropical tree allows him to send hard fruits flying in different directions, providing the player a means to take down surrounding crowds. The large mushroom is mostly reserved for Meng Huo's strong attack strings as it releases toxic spores to harm targets.

When controlled by the AI in Strikeforce, Meng Huo's attacks will be imbued with the fire element by default.

Base Game

Meng Huo is affiliated with the gloves in this title. When equipped with it, Meng Huo can perform the following unique attacks listed below.

EX Attack: Square Square Triangle Triangle: Grabs an opponent and drags them along the ground while emanating a fiery aura, then knocks them away via crouching smash attack.
Musou Attack - Roar (咆哮): Circle: Punches chest repeatedly before letting out an explosive roar that covers the vicinity around Meng Huo.
Alternate Musou Attack - Beast King (獣王): R1 + Circle: Lunges forward to grab an opponent while enveloped in a fiery aura. If the attack succeeds, Meng Huo will jump up high alongside the victim to perform a spinning piledriver.
Notable Skills
  • Speed Up ++: Increases speed by a large amount.
  • Attack Range Up: Increases attack range.
  • Glove Master: Gains expertise at wielding the gloves.

Dynasty Warriors 7: Xtreme Legends

Titles
Lieutenant General (偏将軍) - Slightly increases Legend Mode rewards.
Field General (安国将軍) - Marginally increases damage inflicted on enemies when using power-type weapons.
River General (横江将軍) - Marginally increases attack and defense against officers when using speed-type weapons.

Musou Rush: Hold A: Meng Huo duels an enemy officer through one of several mini-games that tests their individual reflexes against one another. Should the opponent lose, Meng Huo will punch the opponent and grab them by the leg, slamming them arcwise from rear to front with each impact producing fiery fissures. He then smacks them into the air before tossing their whole body down hard before they can even properly land. The attack ends with Meng Huo driving his right fist to the earth, producing a large fissure that causes thermal energy to rise up from it. If the opponent wins, Meng Huo will tumble back on the ground without hurting their target. This also happens after winning a Musou Rush mini-game initiated by the opponent. Can only be used if a hostile officer happens to be nearby.

Charge Attack 1: Lets out a piercing war cry while beating own chest energetically, causing the ground to tremble from the loud sounds produced.
Charge Attack 2: Pulls out a huge rock pillar from the ground.
Charge Attack 3: Knocks surrounding foes away with a powerful left punch. Tapping Triangle repeatedly adds several exploding punches done back and forth followed by a grounded uppercut that generates a fierce whirlwind.
Charge Attack 4: Performs an aerial roll leading up to a powerful body slam, causing dirt and dust to erupt from the impact.
Charge Attack 5: Pounds the ground twice. The first attempt has the user slam the earth with both fists, causing a wide tremor. The second is done via body slam which sends large rocks flying around the area. Pressing Triangle again will cause the user to crawl forward at high speed like an animal before stomping the ground to produce a radial shockwave.

Strong Attack 1 (Break): Slams both fists to produce a shockwave that flinches nearby foes and gives them 170% attack damage. Its bonus effect allows it to deal an additional 380% attack damage on hit and greatly reduces their super armor bar. The effect itself triggers every 30 seconds.
Strong Attack 1 (Armor): Uses both fists to shovel out dirt before delivering a lunging punch forward. Deals a total of 320% attack damage to foes. Its bonus effect grants nearby friendly units a shield that adds a 9% bonus to their health, a 30% damage reduction, and a minor super armor effect. It lasts for 8 seconds and triggers every 40 seconds.
Strong Attack 1 (Gather): Lets out a short war cry before throwing both fists on the ground twice with the second attempt producing fissures due to it being done while hopping. Deals 340% attack damage on surrounding enemies. Its bonus effect deals an additional 18% damage to all enemy troops within range and pulls them closer to the user. The effect itself triggers every 10 seconds.
Strong Attack 2: Attempts to grab a nearby foe with right fist. If it connects, the target will be thrown into the air and receive 330% attack damage.
Strong Attack 3: Attempts to grab a nearby foe with left fist. If it connects, the target will be spun around before being hurled away while sustaining 330% attack damage in the process.

Unique Triple Rush 1: If Meng Huo is paired up with Wei Yan and Zhurong, he will be able to perform a unique triple rush alongside them. His part of the assault involves grabbing a nearby foe and punching them to the air while their body collides with those of other surrounding enemies at the same time.
Unique Triple Rush 2: Meng Huo can perform a unique triple rush attack if he happens to be partnered with Huang Gai and Deng Ai. When his turn to attack comes up, Meng Huo beats his chest furiously before clapping both his gauntlets upward, creating a powerful shockwave that sends foes near him airborne.
Unique Triple Rush 3: Should Meng Huo have Ding Feng and Kotarō Fūma as his teammates, he will be able to do a unique triple rush attack with the two of them. Meng Huo initiates the assault by dropping down to strike the ground hard, creating a powerful quake effect that causes rocks to come flying out.

Fighting Style

His moveset in Online Z is comprised of attacks found in the seventh installment and third Warriors Orochi sequel. Due to the omission of grab moves, attacks that incorporate grappling such as the second charge have been modified with different graphical effects. Despite the limited range of Meng Huo's attack string, his charge attacks have wide coverage needed to contend with large enemy crowds.

Warriors Orochi 4

While retaining the same moveset from Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires, Meng Huo wields the Cerberus as their sacred treasure in this title. When equipped with it, Meng Huo can perform the following attacks listed below.

Special Attacks
Musou Attack: Circle: Meng Huo performs Coconutter as their ground Musou attack.
Normal Magic: R1 + Square: Sends out a trail of ice that freezes enemies in front of the user at a considerable distance. Can hit foes within a fairly wide range while immobilizing them. Best used for quickly thinning out enemy crowds or escaping them outright.
Charge Magic: R1 + Triangle: Locks unto visible foes and pelts them with an array of tracking ice spheres while standing still. Enemies struck by the spheres will be flung into the air momentarily before falling down. Can also hit collapsed foes, giving the attack combo building potential.
Unique Magic: R1 + Circle: Meng Huo lets out all three Cerberus heads and enlarges them with a ferocious roar. Each head then proceeds to fire streams of dark flames that repeatedly damage enemies before causing them to collapse.
Summon Magic: R1 + X: Summons mount to Meng Huo's side.

Unity Magic Bonus: Power +4, Technique +2, Speed +2
Musou Effect - Revive: Grants nearby allies the ability to be revived from the location they were last in once. Only applies in Battle Arena.
Divine Blessing 1 - Scattershot: Increases attack speed, charge attack power, and magic attack power. Only applies in Battle Arena.
Divine Blessing 2 - Thorn: Increases charge attack power and magic attack power. Also recovers health after switching. Only applies in Battle Arena.
Infinity Support Skill - Crystals: Increases the possibility of obtaining crystals. Only applies in Infinity Mode.

Hyper Armor: Passive: Prevents enemies from interrupting combos with normal attacks.
Guard Cancel: Holding L1: Cancels most attacks into a guarding stance, providing more opportunities to defend against enemy attacks.
Type Upgrade Skill 1 - Break: Grants all charge attacks guard-breaking properties.
Type Upgrade Skill 2 - Steadfast: Enables the character to guard against all types of attacks.
Type Upgrade Skill 3 - Resilience: Increases defense when armor is active.
Type Upgrade Skill 4 - Reflex: Increases damage of first hit performed after doing a guard cancel.
Type Upgrade Skill 5 - Eruptive: Temporarily increases attack when somersaulting with little health left.

The Reckless (猪突猛進; lit. "Reckless Onslaught"): Deploying Meng Huo together with Ina and Masanori Fukushima will have their team's Unity Magic gauge be filled at the beginning of battle.

Meng Huo is affiliated with the gloves in this title. When equipped with it, Meng Huo can perform the following unique attacks listed below.

Unique Attacks
Unique Flow Attack Finisher: Enemy Stunned + Square Square Square Square: Grabs a nearby foe by the head, slams their body to the rear and front, then tosses them far away. This attack is derived from the gloves moveset's sixth charge in the previous installment. Cannot be blocked due to being a grapple-based move.
Unique Trigger Attack: R1 + Triangle: Quickly rushes forward and forcefully scoops foes into the air with both arms held upward.
Special Technique: R1 + Circle: Charges violently within a short distance before doing an upward clawing motion with both arms, causing flames to erupt from them briefly. Based on Meng Huo's second EX attack in Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends.
Musou Attack: Circle: Runs on all fours like a wild animal and charges forth continuously while surrounded by swirling energy. Meng Huo then proceeds to pound the ground three times with the third strike done with both gauntlets. The impact causes the earth to tremble while producing fire currents that quickly spread throughout the vicinity. The finisher is heavily based on Meng Huo's original Musou attack from past games.
Aerial Musou Attack: X Circle: Rolls down below twice before stomping the ground, causing nearby enemies to go flying up in the air helplessly while the area is littered with fiery explosions. Adapted from Meng Huo's Earthquake Musou attack from the eighth game.
Horse Maneuvers
Summon Horse: L2: Summon horse to the battlefield. Holding L2 as the horse approaches will allow the character to automatically mount them.
Auto-Run: Riding Mode + L2: Automatically runs towards a specified destination. If a destination has not been set, the horse will instead run towards the location of the player's currently selected mission.
Sprint: Riding Mode + Direction + R1: Causes horse to run at a faster pace. Doing so depletes their stamina each time.
Jump: Riding Mode + Direction + R2: Causes horse to jump high while running.
Horse Fast Attack: Riding Mode + Square: Performs a fast and seamless attack while mounted. The attack itself varies depending on what type of weapon is equipped and whether the enemy is grounded or airborne.
Horse Trigger Attack: Riding Mode + Triangle: Performs an attack that sends enemies flying into the air. May vary depending on what type of weapon is equipped.
Horse Musou Attack: Riding Mode + Circle: Causes horse to sprint by consuming Musou instead of stamina.
Dismount Horse: Riding Mode + X: Dismounts from horse and resumes default fighting stance.
Bow Maneuvers
Shooting Mode: 🡻: Pulls out bow and assumes archery stance. Can be cancelled by tapping 🡻 again.
Switch Arrows: 🡸 or 🡺: Switches between different types of arrows.
Bow Attack: Shooting Mode + Square: Fires current arrow at a target. Can lock on targets by tapping R3.
Lower Bow: Shooting Mode + X: Lowers bow while squatting down.

Chain Attack: Performs down flow attack from the base game to repeatedly strike at foes. Does heavy damage, but cannot deplete the target's spirit. This move is mostly available to attack-type versions of Meng Huo.
Endurance Attack: Performs separating attack from the base game while generating a protective aura that temporarily boosts defense. This move is mostly available to defense-type versions of Meng Huo.
Sneak Attack: Performs dash attack from the base game to inflict heavy damage on the opponent's spirit. This move is mostly available to speed-type versions of Meng Huo.
Missile Attack: Leaps into the air and fires a projectile that turns into a large tornado upon hitting the ground. Does decent damage from a distance, but cannot deplete the target's spirit. This move is mostly available to snipe-type versions of Meng Huo.
Recover Attack: Performs separating attack from the base game while generating a healing circle that gradually restores health. Has no elemental variations with each upgraded version. This move is mostly available to special-type versions of Meng Huo.
Special Attacks
Unique Attack 1 - Earthquake (爆震): Performs special technique from the base game. Available by default.
Unique Attack 2 - Surging Waves (怒濤): Performs unique trigger from the base game using the gloves. Initially available for UR rank versions of its user, this move can be learned upon reaching level 170.
Musou Attack: Performs Musou attack from base game minus the looping animation. Consumes one full Musou gauge.
Aerial Musou Attack: Performs aerial Musou attack from base game. Consumes one full Musou gauge.
Super Musou Attack: Performs full Musou attack from base game. Consumes two full Musou gauges.
Auxiliary Attacks
Counter Attack: Performs counter attack from the base game by tapping the orange counter icon near the opponent once it pops up.
Finishing Attack: Performs finishing attack from the base game by tapping the golden finisher icon that appears once the opponent's spirit has been fully depleted.
Normal Evasion: Does a normal evasion maneuver on the ground to avoid enemy attacks. Can only be performed by attack-type and special-type versions of Meng Huo.
Swift Evasion: Hovers in the air to avoid enemy attacks in an instant. Can only be performed by speed-type and snipe-type versions of Meng Huo.
Piercing Evasion: Charges forth while hunched to avoid enemy attacks while dealing chip damage to foes blocking the way. Can only be performed by defense-type versions of Meng Huo.
