Romance of the Three Kingdoms

Lu Zhi debuted in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series in the fourth title and has appeared in every entry since. In the fourth title he was originally an officer under Dong Zhuo, however he usually begins as a high ranking officer of He JIn in entries where He Jin is still alive at the start of the game. Some entries have him as a Viceroy of He Jin's army, while in other entries he is a Governor. He usually becomes a free officer through the same event when Dong Zhuo takes over the government, just as he did historically. Lu Zhi is typically a skilled officer with domestic stats in the 80's, though his WAR stat is usually in the high 50's. This is offset by Lu Zhi usually possessing other military skills that allow him to be effective in battle despite his mediocre WAR stat.

In the thirteenth entry, if Lu Zhi or He Jin is the player character, than Lu Zhi appears in a hidden scene during the event following the defeat of the Yellow Turban rebellion wherein He Jin is considering appointing his best generals as regional rulers to quell unrest throughout the country, and Lu Zhi adamantly advises against the decision.
