Base Game
Lu Su is affiliated with the rake in this title. When equipped with it, Lu Su can perform the following unique attacks listed below.
- EX Attack 1:
: Performs a chain of rising criss-cross slashes that dish out fragmented terrain in front of the enemy. - EX Attack 2: : Mows the ground for a brief moment before pole vaulting in time for an overhead swing. The last hit will cause the terrain to be violently digged out. Introduced in Xtreme Legends.
- Musou Attack - Boulder Wave (岩隆波; lit. "Rock Protruding Wave"):
: Slams weapon and drags it around before swinging it upward, sending affected foes airborne. - Alternate Musou Attack - Mountain Strike (大山隆落衝; lit. "Great Mountain Rumbling Charge"): R1 + : Smashes the earth to produce a stalagmite before causing it to crumble via aerial strike. Note that the second hit will not affect foes below, making this move less effective in clearing larger crowds.
- Aerial Musou Attack - Vicious Drop (陥瀑落; lit. "Pouring Waterfall Drop"):
: Lifts opponents up into the air and knocks them away by unleashing a shockwave-producing stomp. - Rage Attack: Rakes the ground with weapon multiple times while moving forward, throwing nearby enemies in mid-air. It ends with a final crushing slam that causes the area to tremble with a powerful burst of energy.
- True Rage Attack: If Lu Su manages to perform 100 or more hits while in the middle of a Rage attack, he will start plowing in circles repeatedly while enveloped within an electrified tornado. Eventually, the tornado dissipates in time for Lu Su to rapidly crush the ground a few more times before doing the usual finisher.

- Stratagem Card 5 - Thunderstorm: Causes a lightning storm across the entire battlefield to damage all enemies for 60 seconds. Becomes more effective during rain, storms, snows, and blizzards. Requires 3 allied units to temporarily withdraw for card to take effect.

- Stun Effect: Occasionally induces enemies into a stunned state with attacks.

- Main Attacks
- Strong Attack 1 - Earthly Shockwave (方円震闕; "Contained Tremor"): Rakes the ground to generate a tremor that knocks over enemies in front of Lu Su. Has a cooldown time of 13 seconds (10 seconds in the Japanese server).
- Strong Attack 2 - Dust Devils (飛沙走石; lit. "Flying Sand Running Stone"): Rakes the ground to send a boulder flying, damaging the enemy and causing them to bleed. Good for weakening stronger foes. Has a cooldown time of 16 seconds (also 16 seconds in the Japanese server).
- Strong Attack 3 - Entwined Barrage (縛枢乱打; lit. "Bound Pivoting Riot Strike"): Uses own weapon to pole vault and dive into the enemy, then eviscerates them with several varying swipes. Also improves Lu Su's attack power by 10% for 10 seconds. In the Japanese server, the buff effect is removed while the attack itself can now stun targets and lower their critical hit rate simultaneously. Has a cooldown time of 20 seconds (24 seconds in the Japanese server).
- Strong Attack 4 - Hellshaker (地動黄泉; lit. "Earth Moving Underworld"): Slams the earth hard before dragging rake across it to launch three large boulders forward. As the boulders move in diverging directions, Lu Su continues swinging back and forth while dashing forth. In the Japanese server, it also deals more shield damage. Has a cooldown time of 25 seconds (24 seconds in the Japanese server).
- Normal Attack: Performs their preferred weapon's normal attack string.
- Special Attacks
- Musou Attack - Mountain Strike (大山隆落衝; lit. "Great Mountain Rumbling Charge"): Smashes the ground twice with the second attempt done while leaping. Each hit produces a powerful shockwave that causes debris to come flying out while knocking over surrounding foes. The Japanese server also gives this attack a stun effect in case the target survives. Gets overriden by the character's Rage attack once all three Musou gauges have been filled up.
- Musou Rage Attack: Performs Rage attack once all three Musou gauges have been filled up.
- Switch Attack: Drops down and lands a powerful strike that produces a slamming effect.
- Special Maneuver - Shield: Projects a barrier to negate damage and debuffs.

- Triple Attack 1: Performs a shortened version of Earthly Shockwave to contribute to the combo.
- Triple Attack 2: Performs switch attack to contribute to the combo.
- Triple Attack 3: Performs a shortened version of Dust Devils to contribute to the combo.

Warriors Orochi 4
While retaining the same moveset from Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends, Lu Su wields the Gleipnir as their sacred treasure in this title. When equipped with it, Lu Su can perform the following attacks listed below.
- Special Attacks
- Musou Attack: : Lu Su performs Mountain Strike as their ground Musou attack.
- Normal Magic: R1 + : Causes Gleipnir to rapidly spin around in front, causing it to draw in and ensnare nearby foes. As the treasure juggles its airborne victims repeatedly, it immediately bursts into a dome-shaped shockwave. Though similar in function to the Harpe's normal magic, it sacrifices some range in favor of more damage.
- Charge Magic: R1 + : Jumps high into the air and launches multiple lash marks aimed at specified locations, striking foes down while setting them ablaze. The assault ends with a more explosive lash summoned via magic circle. A total of three additional inputs can be made by tapping either , , or . The lock-on spot can be maneuvered accordingly.
- Unique Magic: R1 + : Lu Su scoops a stalagmite up from the ground, then uses Gleipnir to spin the stalagmite around several times before slamming it to scatter enemies.
- Summon Magic: R1 + : Summons mount to Lu Su's side.
- Miscellaneous Skills
- Unity Magic Bonus: Power +1, Technique +4, Speed +4
- Musou Effect - Repel: Forces surrounding enemy players to be returned to their main base. Only applies in Battle Arena.
- Divine Blessing 1 - Blitz: Increases movement speed, normal attack power, and charge attack power. Only applies in Battle Arena.
- Divine Blessing 2 - Scattershot: Only applies in Battle Arena.
- Infinity Support Skill - Gems: Increases the amount of gems received. Only applies in Infinity Mode.
- Type Skills
- Critical Hit: Passive: Causes attacks to inflict more damage against airborne enemies.
- Spirit Charge: Attack + : Cancels most attacks into a spirit charge that breaks through the enemy's guard while consuming a portion of Musou.
- Type Upgrade Skill 1 - Flak: Increases damage inflicted upon airborne enemies.
- Type Upgrade Skill 2 - Torrent: Enhances the character's switch combo.
- Type Upgrade Skill 3 - Shadow Blade: Increases damage caused by spirit charges.
- Type Upgrade Skill 4 - Shadowless: Enables the character to sometimes conserve Musou when doing a spirit charge.
- Type Upgrade Skill 5 - Tempered: Temporarily increases defense when somersaulting with little health left.
- Team Combination
- Generals of Wu (呉の大都督; lit. "Governor Generals of Wu"): Deploying Lu Su together with Zhou Yu, Lu Xun, and Lu Meng will have their team's attack power be doubled every 300 KOs.
