Junichi Yanagita is a Japanese voice actor. When Yanagita was in junior high, a friend convinced him to pursue voice acting as a vocation after reading about it in an anime magazine. Although his parents greatly opposed this goal, they eventually relented so long as he attended college at Kantō. He immediately joined his university's drama club and later became part of a theater company until its disbandment.
Not one to give up on his dream, Yanagita enrolled at Japan Narration Actor Institute for voice acting lessons. Upon completing the institute's main course, he passed his auditions and was made a full-fledged member of I'm Enterprise.
Having mostly done support roles until recently, the more notable characters performed by Yanagita include Den Utsunomiya in Prince of Stride, Aleksai Amigochaz in Tower of God, and Choji Ahane in Tokyo Revengers.
