Ikue Ōtani is a Japanese voice actor. Although a native of Tokyo, she spent most of her younger years in Niigata Prefecture. 20 years later, some of her lesser roles had to be recast when she briefly took a break for health reasons.
As a veteran voice actor, Ōtani is well-renowned for her high-pitched performances. Some of her roles include Sora Hasegawa in Ah! My Goddess!, Pikachu in Pokémon, and Mitsuhiko Tsuburaya in Detective Conan.
