Doctor Victor von Doom is a prominent character in Marvel Ultimate Alliance series where he is both the main antagonist and DLC playable character of the first game, though he was mentioned in the second game. He return in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, whereas Thanos has similar role as Doom on being both playable and antagonist in the main story, while Doom is also the 5th playable character in the Fantastic Four-themed DLC pack for the third game, where he is the titular antagonist of Shadow of Doom and the true final antagonist of the game a whole.

He is mostly known as the archenemy of mostly Fantastic Four (namely one of his former fellow college students Mr. Fantastic) and Avengers' Iron Man and Captain America, later also Doctor Strange, Spider-Man and Black Panther.

Role in Game

Sometimes after a seemingly demise of both Thanos and Thane, Doctor Doom discovered the clash between father and son Titans cause an unknown entity (originally the Eye of Infinite Stones) awaken. Doom set to Wakanda to steal the Soul Stone from Black Panther in his twisted way on saving the universe by himself. He sent all Ultimate Alliance’s heroes and villains to the Negative Zone, until the arrival of Fantastic Four.

The alliance arrive at Latveria and learn to late that Doom consumes his own people’s souls to empower himself as God Emperor Doom and awaken a Celestial on his bidding to stop the alliance from interfering. As the alliance final stops Doom and return all Latverian people to live, Mr. Fantastic exploits what Doom is planning, and too learn the Infinite entity is coming to invade their universe soon. Doom is eventually being offered to join the alliance for the beginning of their real battles against the entity.
