Fighting Style
Da Qiao fights gracefully using two folding fans that are swung directly at foes or thrown at them. While her attacks are on the weak side, they are very fast and easy to execute. Her most notable trait is her full attack string which can both juggle foes and clear them away in the end if the final hit is performed. Though she and her sister Xiao Qiao have similar fighting styles, Da Qiao focuses more on crowd clearing.
Charge Attack 1: : Turns around with both fans crossed together before firing an elemental projectile. Can be powered up to fire three simultaneous shots at once with an orb equipped. Causes grounded foes to either collapse and airborne foes to be flung away. Note that this attack cannot pierce through enemy crowds, so caution is advised when using it even with a high-leveled orb.

In the fifth game, Da Qiao's attack speed is compromised by her fourth weapon being heavy. However, this can be used to the player's advantage since heavy weapons inflict more damage than normal ones. Combined with the use of a Musou Token, she can do greater damage than most maximized characters especially since her fourth weapon has a large attack bonus.
When controlled by the AI in Dynasty Warriors 5, most of Da Qiao's charge attacks will be imbued with the fire element by default.

Strong Attack 1 (Gather): Conjures a medium-sized energy sphere and tosses it on the ground, producing a small-scale explosion that inflicts 240% attack damage to a group of enemies. Daqiao does a cute pose afterwards, though it can be skipped entirely by evading. Its bonus effect deals an additional 18% damage to all enemy troops within range and pulls them closer to the user. The effect itself triggers every 10 seconds.

Unique Triple Rush 2: Should Daqiao be teamed up with Xiaoqiao and Mitsunari Ishida, she can pull off a unique triple rush alongside them. The attack has her make the first move by waving her fan in the air repeatedly to produce a tornado before knocking foes to Mitsunari's direction with one last smack.
Fighting Style
For her Shin Sangoku Musou Online Z counterpart, Daqiao's attack string alone accumulates more hits and can phase through enemy crowds. Her Musou Attack, while stationary, can be rotated to any direction so long as the player has enough Musou to keep it working. This makes it very useful for defending bases from approaching foes.
Daqiao is affiliated with the pugil stick in this title. When equipped with it, Daqiao can perform the following unique attacks listed below.
EX Attack 1: : Leaps up into the air, then dives forward into enemies while leaving behind trails of deep red petals.
EX Attack 2: : Causes flung foes to levitate in mid-air via telekinesis before sending them flying at a considerable distance. Introduced in Xtreme Legends.
Musou Attack - Spirit Wave (断絶波; lit. "Rupturing Wave"): : Daqiao anxiously concentrates her spirit power while holding her pugil sticks in a protective stance, then unleashes it in the form of a spinning red flower from the palm of her hand. The flower itself releases orange-colored mist accompanied by red petals and sparkles.
Alternate Musou Attack - Spirit Strike (悪漢討伐; lit. "Ruffian Subjugation"): R1 + : Utilizes spirit power to telekinetically grab surrounding opponents and spin them around repeatedly while generating an orange whirlwind with red petals. Daqiao twirls her right-handed pugil stick around to perform the spin itself. It ends with the victims being collectively thrown on the ground. Unlike in the previous title, the attack no longer prioritizes on grabbing enemy officers over peons as it did before.
Aerial Musou Attack - Spirit Blast (落英風; lit. "Falling Petal Breeze"): : Spins around surrounded by a whirlwind of red petals while hovering down on the earth. The whirlwind surrounding Daqiao remains for a while after the attack, knocking away enemies close by.
Rage Attack: Swings weapon diagonally back and forth several times in a row while sprinting forward. The assault ends with Daqiao radiating a massive surge of energy that sends foes flying.
True Rage Attack: Upon performing a 100-hit combo during her Rage attack, Daqiao will jump up and twirl both her weapons continuously while rotating numerous time. Near the end of her assault, she then unleashes an electrical tornado prior to the activation of the usual finisher.

Strong Attack 3 - Dreamy Glide (憐夢飄; lit. "Tender Dream Fluttering"): Leaps into the air and releases a rain of energy balls while spinning around. In the Japanese server, it has been reassigned to the second charge move slot. Has a cooldown time of 20 seconds (10 seconds in the Japanese server).
Strong Attack 4 - Disillusion Assault (滅念襲; lit. "Desensitized Raid"): Hops backwards in the air, then rapidly glides forth to knock away foes. Also improves Daqiao's attack speed by 30% for 10 seconds. In the Japanese server, it has been reassigned to the third charge move slot while the buff's effect has been modified to 50% for 5 seconds. Has a cooldown time of 26 seconds (16 seconds in the Japanese server).
Normal Attack: Performs their preferred weapon's normal attack string.

Normal Magic: R1 + : Releases a blue ball of light that turns into a vortex of water upon being near potential targets, sucking their bodies in and leaving them susceptible to regular attacks. The ball's traveling speed is slow by default, but does become faster when activated while running. Though its ability to home in on foes is exceptional, it will not respond to downed enemies.
Charge Magic: R1 + : Locks unto enemies surrounding the user and launches light projectiles that send them flying. The more enemies caught by this spell, the more damage it can inflict, making it a better alternative to certain unique magic attacks.
Unique Magic: R1 + : Daqiao performs an elegant spin while holding the Nectar forward, causing it to emit powerful petal whirlwinds that move in a floral pattern.
Summon Magic: R1 + : Summons mount to Daqiao's side.

Unique Trigger Attack: R1 + : Jumps up and glides downward at the enemy with both fans outstretched, sending them airborne along the way. This move is reminiscent of Daqiao's fourth charge attack from the older games.
Special Technique: R1 + : Does an inward cross swing to conjure a powerful whirlwind, then tosses both fans forward in symmetrical circles. Bears a resemblance to Xiaoqiao's Whirlwind of Fans Musou from Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires.
Musou Attack: : Hurls both fans forward in symmetrical motions repeatedly while spin hopping along the way. Daqiao then unleashes a large funnel of wind with red and pink petals trailing around her. The finisher itself is fire elemental, allowing it to damage foes even more. This attack combines aspects of Daqiao's first charge attack from Dynasty Warriors 3 and her Spirit Wave Musou from the more recent titles.
Aerial Musou Attack: : Performs a descending spin slash while engulfed in electricity and flower petals. Being a repurposed version of Daqiao's Spirit Blast Musou from the eighth game, it sacrifices its previous barrier effect in favor of inflicting more damage.
Horse Maneuvers
Summon Horse: L2: Summon horse to the battlefield. Holding L2 as the horse approaches will allow the character to automatically mount them.
Auto-Run: Riding Mode + L2: Automatically runs towards a specified destination. If a destination has not been set, the horse will instead run towards the location of the player's currently selected mission.
Sprint: Riding Mode + Direction + R1: Causes horse to run at a faster pace. Doing so depletes their stamina each time.
Jump: Riding Mode + Direction + R2: Causes horse to jump high while running.
