Airi (アイリ) is Rei's younger sister. Sometime before the series begins, she was going to be happily wedded to the love of her life. However, Jagi invades her home before the ceremony, kills her parents, and steals her away. She is then sold as a slave to "customers" for various demeaning deeds. Dreading her life and unable to face it, she uses a medicine to seal her eyes to prevent her from seeing. Since Rei had only heard that she was taken by a "man with seven scars on his chest", he searches the world looking for him to avenge her.
By the time her brother sees her again, she is held captive by the Fang Clan. To save her, Mamiya tries to use deception but unfortunately is captured as well. The Fang King tells Rei and Kenshiro to fight to the death for the ladies' safety. After the Fang Clan dissolves, Kenshiro presses points of her face to allow her to see once more. As a result, Rei doesn't believe that Kenshiro could have captured his sister and thinks of him as a good friend. She later gains the will to live and fight thanks to Rin's bravery. Airi survives her brother and lives as a resident in Mamiya's village.
