Noriaki Sugiyama is a Japanese voice actor. As the eldest of 4 siblings, Sugiyama was eager to pursue a career in voice acting due to his desire to verbally express himself more, especially right before finishing high school. To help pay for tuition costs, he worked part-time at a gaming company. He deeply respects the late Kei Tomiyama who was his senior in Production Baobab.
In 2009, he announced his marriage to a woman outside the industry and had one daughter with her the same year. He loves cats and happens to be a fan of the Wolfenstein series.
Sugiyama tends to voice characters who exhibit cold or eccentric personalities. He also admits to being bad at ad-libbing, preferring to read the script faithfully. Some of his roles include Kevin Levin in Ben 10: Alien Force, Shirou Emiya in the Fate series, and England in Hetalia: Axis Powers.
