Marina Inoue is a Japanese voice actor and singer. She has been a part of the dubbing industry since 2004.
Born from a well-to-do family, Inoue was given a thorough education via Kumon method. While studying political science at university, she made her debut as a voice actor after being chosen among 2,000 contestants in the Sony Music SD Group Seiyu Audition. Her singing career began the same year, though she has since focused more on voice overs. She was once a junior classmate of Tetsuya Kakihara during their university days and has a brother two years older than her.
Inoue is able to assume a variety of different roles, though fans recognize her action-oriented characters the most. For her young male or tomboyish female roles, she uses more throaty deliveries to better convey rough speech patterns. She has voiced Chiri Kitsu in Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei, Nana in Darling in the Franxx, and Alicia Melchiott in the Valkyria Chronicles series.
