Great job here, you've been doing alot of work(more than me). Anyway, welcome to the Wiki, If you need my help I'll be more than happy lend a hand or two(though I generally have trouble lending 3 hands). Moogle Buddy 19:34, 10 February 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Thanks but you should give yourself more credit. I didn't know this place existed until a week or so ago. :) Sake neko 22:53, 10 February 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

A late but very warm welcome

This is probably just going to seem tacky after moogles greeting, but hello all the same, and thanks for all the contributions.

I just have one thing I wanted to ask you about though; I noticed (at least in sw character articles) that you've been replacing the artwork infobox images with the concept images. My opinion is that we should use the promo arts when their the most recent, and additionally there was a consensus earlier about using the artworks. and while i dont care for the look of the concept arts, many thanks for finding and uploading them, and they can definitely be good additions to the sw2 sections/gallerys of articles.

I apologize if I'm coming across as dictatorial; all I wanted to do by bringing this up was ask for your input on the matter, so thanks again for the help. Dabigbozz42 16:50, 16 February 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hey thanks for the compliment. I only used the concept art because I don't have a copy of the promo arts. I don't mind if they're replaced in the gallery, but I did want to add an image so the article wouldn't look blank. I add the concept art for some characters because you can't see some details very well in the promo art (Kanetsugu comes to mind). That's my two cents really. Sake neko 22:07, 16 February 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Hi, I'd like to welcome you as well to the wiki although it's a bit late. You've been doing a great job with the character articles, especially the Kessen sections. If possible just try and stick to the recently written manual of style so that articles are all written in the same way.--Aeonlord92 08:27, 20 February 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Roger. Sake neko 08:28, 20 February 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Grazie mille

Thanks for all the work you've been doing here, Sake neko. You've been the most active user for some time, and thank you for expanding the articles with Kessen and Saihai no Yukue information. GreatPanda 16:08, 21 February 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Thanks. I'm really just expanding on the Koei genre I like the most but it's nice to hear that the people here appreciate it. :) Sake neko 20:48, 21 February 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

My God, Sake neko, you're doing way too much work. Organizing and making Categories, taking the time to tediously put articles in the correct categories, making new articles and images... Just too much work there, Sake neko. Thanks a hella bunch. Hope the Wiki isn't taking up too much of your fun! GreatPanda 00:15, 17 March 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Nice pictures

I was going over the edits on pages, and one question I have is where did you find those pictures for Kunoichi, they are very good. I'm rather clueless at finding pictures myself, so I was simply a little curious. Also very nice work on the wikia(never seen so much work done, even when we had 5 active people, and now it's 2, you and GreatPanda). I haven't been near active enough as of late I'm going to try to be of more of a help. Moogle Buddy 01:25, 15 March 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Thanks again. :) If you mean the scans in her gallery section, it's because I personally own and scanned the books myself. I'm trying to do the same for other characters as well but I'm not willing to tear my pages out like the really awesome Dokuganryu. So those other scans are kinda placeholders for the time being. Sake neko 01:31, 15 March 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Crimson Sea

I was wondering if you wanted me to make a template for you as far as Crimson Sea goes, all I would need to know is how many games they have, and the main character names. Just trying to be helpful Moogle Buddy 01:24, 23 April 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Thanks. A series template might be overkill since there's only two games really made for Crimson Sea. A character template might be helpful though. I wouldn't know how to organize it, I'm still working it out in my head. :) Sake neko 01:50, 23 April 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I wouldn't think so, Warriors Orochi had 2 games(3 now) and it had one listing the the games above, and Warriors Orochi exclusive characters. It's purpose is just to give quick links from one article to another one in at the bottom that all relate, and in a small easy to find box Moogle Buddy 19:06, 23 April 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I guess. I'd be more pleased if we had an infobox for the Houshin Engi characters since they've been in four games at least. It's just that as cool as Crimson Sea is, I see less of a future sequel for these games than the Warriors Orochi one. If you think it's all right though, then I wouldn't mind a template. :) Sake neko 21:11, 23 April 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I think he is the best character except for lubu User:DWGamer196

Zhen Ji Courtesy Name

Hello Sake Neko. Nice to meet you. I've seen the recent edit you did on Zhen Ji's page. Can you correct me if Im wrong?

I'm aware that Furen litteraly means ones wife, but historically Zhen Ji was commonly called Madame Zhen. In Chinese Furen also means Madame which translates to her name Zhen Furen in Chinese. Maybe you are correct since Furen is a tittle. Historically her tittle was Furen though. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Luo Shen (talkcontribs)

Yes, I'm aware of that as well. Furen is more like a title that addressing her status. Furen is not a given name for the individual; it's not as intimate as a style name, which addresses in one name where a person was born and such. I've looked everywhere -Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and so on- and so far no one knows her actual style name, putting her in the same boat as most of the other ladies from that time. Furen isn't really exclusive to Zhen Ji either as I've seen it used to describe many other ladies during ancient times (Huang Yueying and Wu Guotai immediately come to mind). This is due to the way how ladies were treated/remembered during those times. They weren't addressed or recorded under the entire given name as it was mostly limited to family or their husbands. It was formal to address them under a rank with their family name, recognizing their marriage to their husband rather than they themselves. To try to address a lady under their full name when you're not in this circle was a great offense. They kinda have a similar naming scheme in Japanese with the "x no kata", "xhime" and "x-dono".
You can add Furen in the historical section/information though, I won't mind. In fact, if you want, you can rewrite it as well since it's a bit lacking in some places and you seem genuinely interested in the section at the moment than I do. It's just faulty to try to say that Furen itself is an actual name or a style name for a person -it's like treating the Mrs. or Mr. as the entire name for a person when it's normally not. Sake neko 01:20, 31 July 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I forgot to say this before but an easy way to spot if someone has a style name is to see if the character for it is present (字 followed by their style name). Also as a dorky Koei reference, Zhen Ji just says her name while her husband says his name and style name.Sake neko 03:31, 31 July 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I'm sorry that I cussed u out.I was mad before I checked my mail,I got even madder when u messed my page up.I'm just gonna ask u why.I'm from atlanta and we don't take that shit very well.I just wanna ask u why.

I'm not mad anymore about Zhen Luo page anymo. This nosy little boy told me I cannot claim ownership(New 2 this didn't know)and u don't have 2 answer the question that i asked. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Snia10 (talkcontribs)

Thank you for the apology. Remember, you can add stuff too. Especially anything related to gameplay. We could need a page that lists all the skills in Dynasty Warriors or something like that. Sake neko 19:32, 20 August 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

WO2 PSP

Oh no, I don't have WO2 PSP. I live in Holland and so it hasn't released here yet, but I am going to get it for sure. And I do not have Strikeforce, don't like it. Anyways, I'll see what I can do here. Master Sima Yi August 25th, 2009

Historical Information

Is what the Historical Information I created about Muneshige Tachibana okay then? I didn't copy it from anywhere. Master Sima Yi 05:12, September 16, 2009 (UTC)

It's shallow and not to my personal liking for a guy who did a lot, but most of it is somewhat correct. If you're not going to write more on him, I'm planning to expanding the section later anyways -like with a lot of other people. Sake neko 05:14, September 16, 2009 (UTC)

NPCs

I was working on that. Though I was certain you would know more about, for example, Takanobu Ryuzoji's role in other games. I'm sure he appears in other games, though you seem to own more KOEI games then I do. I'm doing it also as a start for other people to edit, seeing as all edits by other people I see are for old articles. Master Sima Yi 16:03, October 2, 2009 (UTC)

Btw, Takenaka did fight for the Oda army. Face it :P. He was fighting UNDER Hideyoshi. Master Sima Yi 16:05, October 2, 2009 (UTC)

Then how can I fill in the Kessen parts when I don't own any Kessen games and the roles of the characters in it aren't described anywhere? I'm not relying on you particular, just anyone who knows what to fill in there. Sorry, I'm not really good at explaining, and even worse in a foreign language... Master Sima Yi 16:53, October 2, 2009 (UTC)

"Just because Kaihime was made playable doesn't mean these other characters will be, so don't make more pages for them. "

I'm not doing it because of that. Takanobu is as important in SW2 as Magobei Fuse. All those articles need to be made, does it matter where you begin? Master Sima Yi 17:12, October 2, 2009 (UTC)

I see. But tell me, when are thes pages going to be done then? Master Sima Yi 17:20, October 2, 2009 (UTC)

And do you mind telling me where you get the info concerning NA and those pictures, from Takanobu, from? Master Sima Yi 17:23, October 2, 2009 (UTC)

Pictures.

Hello Sake Neko. My reasoning for if anyone could get picture from the videos, was simply to get the most up to date pictures for the characters. I see your point though of waiting for the official images as they are, well, official, well-done, and high-quality. I was simply thinking momentary up to date pictures might also help in the gallery, as it shows the viewers what is currently known of the characters. While I'm leaving a message, might I interest you in the Featured Article voting? You do the most work on the wikia, so it's you'll more than likely know the best among the articles, and I really want to get that rolling again. Thanks Moogle Buddy 01:17, October 5, 2009 (UTC)

About Ne Zha

Hi Sake Neko I'm just wondering about Ne Zha. In Mystic Heroes Ne Zha is a girl (from character profile in the game). But actually Ne Zha is a boy?! And I found a guide from this http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/psx/file/575236/24910 which also tell that Ne Zha is a girl. So I'm starting to confuse that actually is Ne Zha really a girl or really a boy x_x. So if your information is really true then please answer here and confirm it thank you...

I already answered this here since that was the ip address that the question came from, but I guess I can repeat it.
Yes, he's a boy.
I know the images don't help me argue this case at all, but Ne Zha's really a boy in Japanese. Li Jing says that he only has sons (息子たち, musukotachi) and he calls Ne Zha the "stupid son". To be honest though, just think that Li Jing has having really feminine looking sons. Jin Zha and Mu Zha look just as feminine and they practically look like twins to boot. Ne Zha doesn't change genders in Japanese at all, since he's still a boy in other FY titles. The characters who know him always make a point of saying that he's a boy during his introduction sequences. That's why he gets upset for being mistaken as a "goddess" in the handheld game. Ne Zha also appears in Saiyuki and Goku identifies him as a male. It doesn't seem like it's him in the English version, but he's named one of his other names in Japanese, Nata Taishi (哪吒太子, Ne Zha Taizhi), which is roughly translated as Prince Ne Zha.
The English Mystic Heroes is the only title that says that he's a she. I'm guessing that they didn't want to try to use his proper gender for some reason. Well... I can see why, if that's the case. Sake neko 19:15, October 17, 2009 (UTC)
I finally found the official page for the first game and the character list says that Nezha's a boy as well. Sake neko 22:09, October 19, 2009 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for cleaning up the Aya page. I had no idea about here other names and therefore couldn't find much info on her... I may also have been a little harsh (don't know if that's good English... ) in creating the page since I didn't have much time for it. Sorry. Master Sima Yi 14:01, November 18, 2009 (UTC)

Sorry. Though I was planning on editing it when now that I'm home from school. I noticed the Yoshikage Asakura one too. And yes, I got to admit that I do want to be the first one though XD. I want me to go noticed for once, in any way possible... I'm sorry but I can't really help that. God I hate myself for that. And by the way, the deleted Aya page wasn't as good as the one you have made now. Master Sima Yi 14:32, November 18, 2009 (UTC)

personals item for WO..

Hey there.. i just want you to know that to complete the personal items article, you nedd the guide of how to unlock it, right? so you can just copy it form gamefaqs, then search Warriors Orochi and open the unlockig personal items guide... Hope this help... Thx...

Hi,Sake neko.do you have more images and scans of the koei saiyuki characters like the viliians and many other more?

Scans: no. The images in the character's infoboxes are ones I stole from both versions of the official website. I know a book with the official artworks exists but I sadly do not own it. Character portraits and other such game images: yes! But, I must admit, I'm not really focusing on Saiyuki at the moment. If you want, I can do the rest of the Saiyuki characters after I finish three more characters from Gitaroo-Man. Sake neko 07:53, December 18, 2009 (UTC)

Really? Gee,thanks.Sake neko.I've been searching them for a very long time and they are extremely hard to find.

Oh and one more thing,Sake neko, what is the difference between scans and images?

Something that I consider to be a "scan":
Something that I consider to be a general image for the game:
The majority of the Saiyuki articles I did were the main party characters with full body images from the official website. Since I don't own the artbook for this game, I don't have these same sorts of images for the remaining characters. Until I do or someone with the book is kind enough to contribute, I'm basically aiming to make the rest of the character articles look something like the majority of the Fengshen Yanyi characters (such as Wen Zhong or Huang Tianhua). I haven't read the entire Journey to the West novel yet so I'm likely going to leave the novel summaries blank. I'm hoping that someone out there who has read the novel and wants to do them can contribute for that section though. We'll see. Sake neko 12:52, December 25, 2009 (UTC)

Oh,I do not own both the artbook and the novel either that's why i have been searching for them for a very long time and i found this website, this is all thanks to you. ^^ I found out that there is one artbook called the "西游记六画集" meaning "Saiyuki Six Illustration".This is the website http://auction.thumbnail.image.rakuten.co.jp/@0_auc/image78/76/72/00010002978/62/b2/img00130758024.jpg,the one on the upper right is the artbook in this website.Unfortunately, this artbook can only be obtained by buying the Saiyuki Journey West game as both the game and the artbook come together and it is extremely hard to find now, even for the second hand. There is also one website that talks a bit about the Saiyuki journey West novel, the novel is basically in japanese and they translate it to English, this is the website,"community.livejournal.com/journeywest".The illustration for the novel in japanese is "www1.ocn.ne.jp".I also love the ost of the game and i have been searching them for the past 4 years and i have finally found them. This is the website,http://www.box.net/shared/xsafmtk68b. Enjoy ^^ Again, thank you very much for posting the saiyuki images,i really appreciate it.

Thanks for the hook ups and for the response. I'm happy to know that someone else on the net likes this Saiyuki like I do. ^^ I'm just a bit sad that I can't get that artbook though. I sometimes see it on yahoo auctions or other sites like that but it's sometimes too expensive for me (either the book itself or the shipping). And then it disappears in like two or three days. I'm having the same vain struggle trying to find the Houshin Engi book and drama CDs -for a reasonable price- as well. Well, I still appreciate your kind responses. I'll try to finish up the rest of those pages in the next few days or so. ^^ Sake neko 18:01, December 28, 2009 (UTC)

You are very welcome,Sake neko. ^^ I'm also very glad that i have found someone who is a fan of Saiyuki like you.I think there is only a few people out there who love this game.Don't give up,Sake neko,i'm sure we will find the artbook one day. If you need help, just send a message here and i will try my best to help you.Gambateh! Kkeep it up! ^^

Greetings

Hi,Sake neko, wish you a very happy and prosperous new year! May all your dreams and wishes come true! ^^ Oh,can i ask you something, hope you don't mind if i say this. Are you a japanese?

Oh,i forgot something,Sake neko. You said that you are having the same vain struggle trying to find the Houshin Engi book and drama CD,right? What kind of book is the Houshin Engi? Is it an artbook, novel or a story?

Happy new year to you too. I don't really want to say anything about myself at the moment, so I'll pass on the first question. As for the second one, I'm referring to the Fengshen Yanyi series that Koei did. They did three drama CDs and light novels, but I'm having a hard time even seeing anything for them. It's pretty obscure, even with Japanese fans, so I guess it's to be expected.
Anyways, I have a little request. If you (or someone that you know has played the game) would like to look over and add things to the Saiyuki character pages that are done, then be my guest. I would also appreciate in-depth novel summaries, and preferably not copy-paste from Wikipedia (since wikias are supposed to offer more). Well, anything really. I just don't want to be the only person who's touching these pages. Sake neko 12:18, January 6, 2010 (UTC)

Oic,it's ok if you don't want to talk about yourself, sorry for asking such stupid question...As to be your guest, why,i would be glad to do so ^^ I just don't know how to do so and edit or add images to the saiyuki category.Besides,i also don't know how or where to get the saiyuki images....

Thanks. As for the pages, I just mean the ones that are done so far for now. Like the main party/other characters. They look complete but I figure that someone else's input might help them look a bit better. Sake neko 05:05, January 8, 2010 (UTC)

Mmmmm...... I think what the saiyuki image category lacks of is that, firstly, some of the characters don't have their full body shown like the optional characters and the Guardians. I do have the full figures of the guardians but i don't know how to post them up and i also do not have the full figure of the optional party members like taurus, tessen and so on....Secondly, the sections of the eight devils and extra characters are empty, not even their face portraits. I will help you to post them up but question is i do not know how or where to find those images.I have been searching for them in the internet for a very long time and until now i could only find some of the images which are all been posted on the saiyuki category. Also,i was also looking for the saiyuki game concept art like the front, back and side views of the characters, the characters sketches and sprites, as well as the backgrounds, environments and background designs of the game.I had been wondering why KOEI keep this game so classified.==

Um... I wasn't asking about the images. I don't really want more images for these characters right now. I can just take screenshots for the remaining characters as a placeholder. That's not my primary concern.
I was talking about the character pages themselves. Y'know, the writing and the analysis junk. The stuff about the characters themselves. I was asking about an opinion regarding those. Sake neko 06:42, January 9, 2010 (UTC)

Oh,is the character pages...Sorry,i was confused. So you wish someone would give more information and feedback about the characters in the character pages? But i think there is only you and me who have been talking about saiyuki,i don't see other people coming in and give comments about it.

So i just add some feedback and information in the characters corner? Do i have to register in order to do so?

Er, if you want to register, you can. You might want to read up a bit on how wikias work before you commit to it though. For normal writing purposes, you can just add whatever you want without membership. It's a wikia where anyone can edit.
Also take note of the bold text near the bottom of the screen as you edit. If you can't see it, I'll copy it for you: 'If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly and redistributed at will, then don't submit it here. I can't stress that enough.' If you're cool with that, then do as you please. Sake neko 10:01, January 11, 2010 (UTC)

Sanguo Zhi

Hello Sake Neko,

I'm busy setting up my own Three Kingdoms page at http://sanguozhi.wikia.com/wiki/Sanguozhi_-_Record_of_the_Three_Kingdoms_Wiki and was wondering if we could link to each others wiki? As I said I'm just starting so there's only 44 pages and 4 contributors and we're looking to expand! It seems your wiki's main focus are the videogames and my wiki's main focus is the historical aspect of the Three Kingdoms (the sanguo zhi and the many biographies).

I hope you're willing to consider this! :-)

Zantam03 16:31, January 13, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks I guess? I'm not admin though so I can't really say anything about being affiliates. Kyosei can answer this for you. Sake neko 21:33, January 13, 2010 (UTC)

Hi,Sake Neko.I have edited one of the Saiyuki characters data but the information is not related to the saiyuki journey west game.Is it ok? And i really have no idea what to write the about the other characters' data. Also,i wanted to add some images in the saiyuki category if you don't mind.

Um... I don't really know what to say if I can't see the edit. If it's information from the novel then I don't mind. If you want to post images, you have to get an actual account from wikia. But like I said, it'd probably be best if you read a bit more on wikias before you think you should actually join. Sake neko 04:56, January 19, 2010 (UTC)

Oic....I'll see what i can do about the characters pages.

Mmm....I think all the character pages have been edited and i think almost all the information about the characters is there.I wonder why you are still worrying about the pages and that you say that "i don't really know what to say if i can't see the edit." Is something wrong,Sake Neko?

Are you putting novel information in what should be the actual game only section? I've only seen changes on Goku at best, and that was in the wrong section. Information from the novel should be at the bottom and not be joined with what is only in the game. Feel free to keep editing as you like, but do not continue to confuse the purpose of both sections. It's there to compare with what changes there are from the original source material, not to say that both materials are the same. Sake neko 09:04, January 27, 2010 (UTC)

Oh,sorry.Well,i really don't know what to say but i will just leave the pages as they used to be. I was just trying to help and if i had make a mess,i would like to apologize.

There's no need to apologize; if anything I might need to since I guess I unintentionally sound like I'm bullying you. You can keep editing if you like and I really encourage it, but I'm just saying that your information was in the wrong section. Sake neko 08:36, January 28, 2010 (UTC)

Honestly, you really do sound like that. And you sound kinda angry and i just don't know why.Anyway,i won't give it a damn and i won't keep that in mind.So don't worry about that.

Hi

Hi again thanks to you I got all the help i needed on wikia so thanks.

Becouse all of your help i managed to creat a new wiki called Samurai Games i would really like you to check it out to see what you think about the wiki.

Sadley no 1 had entered my wiki yet :( so you will be the 1st person to see it.

By the way is Odawara Castle a stage in Kessen becouse i have made this stage in your koei wiki and was wondering if you would know how the story is in the games.

Again Thanks.

Hi

Thanks alot for the tips and for visiting Samurai Wiki. I already putted Way of the Samurai page. And for Warriors Orochi i only mentioned it for Yoshitsune Minamoto, Kiyomari Taira and Benkei Saitio for there 1st appearence. The only problem is that i am putting there gaming appearence which is hard to find for other Samurai's of other periods. As for Onimusha Samanosuke IS Hiedimitsu thats why I linked him in Nobunaga's History section. Some other games you mentioned I don't know them all but I'm sure that I will get them since they are samurai games. As for Yakuza the game is a mafia/yakuza game apart from the 3rd game.

And thanks for the info for Odawara I haven't got the 3rd kessen yet.

Tadakatsu

that is a nice pic of tadakatsu he is the best

Samurai games Wiki

Hi again, Listen can you give some more tips for my wiki i'm running out of ideas and I don't know what i'm going to improve and attract other members to visit the wiki.

Again thanks for everything.

Hi again, Is it a good idea to put Hokotu Musou in the my wiki?

Ok thanks and by the way do you know any other sengoku era related games?

thank you allot if you want to check the up update on the wiki feel free. unfortunitly no one visited yet : (

and know since i have finished by exams I can update Samurai games wiki and koei wiki more often

I have liked the sengoku period since I was 7 heck this year i even wrote a book about the period. If you want i can email it to you

and once again thanks allot

Ok thanks

Thanks

Thank you alot for your help. I'm finding a hard time finding some info I don't have all of the games. I was thinking of doing a table but when I finished the cells didn't appeare.

I was thinking of putting Naruto in the wiki, my friend told me that he would like to help if i get started on naruto, but he isn't a member yet. Should I put naruto? he isn't a samurai but my friend told me that there are samurais in the series.

By the way do you know anyone who can help me in the wiki? I don't know alot of peaple in wikia I even checked there blog but they are mostly intrested in Dynasty Warriors.

Again thanks.

Naomasa Ii

No one calls him Naomasa Li, they call him Ii, with an uppercase 'i'. Which is why they also use the reference to Yi.

I know his real name. I'm just wondering why I saw "Li Naomasa" on his page before I erased the historical section. I've also seen the "Li" floating around on other random boards as well, so it isn't just that one instance. Sake neko 14:44, February 4, 2010 (UTC)

Wikipedea

Ok and sorry.

By the way is it a good idea to do a generic charecter his generic weapon using kojiro and katsuie's weapon's in SW2 Empires

No, I was sugesting to put a generic charecter there generic weapon by using katsuie and kojiro's weapon's in SW2 Empires pics

OK then

The Lu's

The reason I put Lu Bu in Chen Gong's article as Lü Bu is because that's how it is consistently used in my version of the novel (the same goes for Lü Boshe). I didn't really get what you were saying in your summaries, so could you clarify your reasoning, please? Thanks you, and after all of this time, you're as hard-working as ever. GreatPanda 02:26, February 9, 2010 (UTC)

Oh, thanks same to you. You're helping a lot with the summaries and keeping silly comments off of pages. Red Hare being the fastest horse in the land... only in the games! :)
Anyways, I just don't really see the point in putting pinyin all the time for one syllable but excluding everyone else. Pinyin is stuff like the "Lü" for "Lü Bu". Why only do a part of Lu Bu when you've got a whole load of other characters and places who have technically have those similar symbols for their name? It just seems a bit biased and not really consistent. I sometimes do that too, but it's mostly for a visual key/guide since sometimes the subject or place I mention often isn't talked about in English. On the other hand, most people who visit this wiki already know who Lu Bu is. That's what I meant. I didn't mean to offend, it's just that it's weird to see it, y'know? Sake neko 02:37, February 9, 2010 (UTC)
Thank you. I'll try to keep pinyin only in the infobox, then. And my apologies if I sounded offended, I'm not at all in fact. Was just wondering. :D GreatPanda 03:26, February 9, 2010 (UTC)

Yoshiaki Ashikaga

I was wondering around Koei wiki and i found a Yoshiaki page. I don't think that it quite suites the wiki. Yoshiaki only appeares in Nobunaga's Ambition.

I didn't I just edited the page (I only made the Template)

Yeah I saw it

Don't Know : |

I just was writing yoshihiro and when i stopped at yoshi I saw Yoshiaki so I edited it I only knew him Historically (Ashikaga Shogun)

Warriors legend of troy

Hi again, listen I found some really good pics of the game and I was thinking of making a new article about the characters but which template should I use?

Ok then

Images.

Good evening. Just to tell you that I changed all possible images with better quality, but they remain the same. So, I wish you still do not change my opinion. I have the impression that you do it on purpose. Thank you for understanding.

Help us if you want

Gameplay of Xi Wang Mu: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLHuWTuWsDc

SHE A PLAYABLE CHARACTER!!!

It is not written yet on the site but in a recent Famitsu scans. Moreover, if it was not playable, it would not gameplay video. I myself played!

Moreover, it has been said that Strikeforce 2 propose 11 new playable characters and gold Xi Wang Mu, although it reached the 11 characters.

If you want to specify on the page of Xi Wang Mu, the form fury is Huang Quan.

Sake neko, can you upload the rest of the Saiyuki Journey West characters images like the eight devils, the lord taurus allies and the other characters? Thanks.

Magoichi Saika

Hi again,

I was wondering why put all members of the Suzuki Clan whilst Shigehide is Magoichi in Magoichi's Historical Information section.

In Nobunaga's Ambition Iron Triangle in the historical section of Shigehide there is writen that "Shigehide was also nicknamed as Magoichi Saika" so why not remove the other members of the Suzuki and leave only Shigehide?

Yes but, the original Magoichi is Shigehide any way I understand why you written them.

Actually Hanzo was historically significant only at Iga, so we could just was well remove other battles too.

Hai Tang and other FT characters

Will you still make their bio or will you just leave them?

Still intending to make Houshin characters, but want to finish the stories for the SW characters and one or two of the Hokuto guys first. I'm the same with Saiyuki, Gundam, RoTK characters, Kessen, and Crimson Sea characters too; just putting that out there. However, if you played the games/know something about them and are willing to write, then I'm not really stopping any volunteers from editing. :) Sake neko 10:34, April 8, 2010 (UTC)

Sengoku Period wiki

Hi I haven't been contributing lately because I have been working on my Sengoku Period wiki lately.

Who can I tell in this wiki to contribute each others wiki?

I hope your the right guy

They already know because user:Zamtam is helping me since I don't know how to create templates.Yukimurasanada 18:32, April 15, 2010 (UTC)
Sorry I mixed up the wiki. I never seen that wiki. I was refering to this wiki.Yukimurasanada 18:47, April 15, 2010 (UTC)

Guo Jia article

I have a question, why did u delete Guo Jia's moveset on the article, he is a playable character in DW4 Empires as well a 5 Empires. and he is kinda a major character. --Aeris97 12:01, April 16, 2010 (UTC) Aeris97

I have just finished making my SW cards on my PC and I wish to upload them here in this wiki. Can I do that? If so how shall I upload them.?

OK I'll try asking him.Yukimurasanada 10:01, April 18, 2010 (UTC)

Edit Characters

For the Edit Characters Pages, are they for removed characters/Non-playable characters? or are they for all edit characters, even if they do not exist in rotk? --Aeris97 11:32, April 21, 2010 (UTC)

Oh, Ok.

So would edit characters that aren't actual characters in rotk (i.e: your own character, like, someone called Guo Zun, Du Mao, Zhuge Xi, etc.) count?

And i do do my research, the info on du xi's article were from many sites, including kongming.net

Thanks

I see, ok. One more thing, regarding the Du Xi article on Wikipedia, originally it was a red link, i got pissed at no one creating it so i decided to do some research but found barely anything after about 2-4 hours, so i created the Du Xi article, but still only about 2 sentences. So i know the info on the wikipedia article is accurate, and oddly none has touched the wikipedia article, since it was created, supposedly that no on give a crap about the article.

Really?

Any reason on the mi fang article you deleted all the info that I indeed put in my own words and not a single one was from wikipedia???? --Aeris97 20:56, April 21, 2010 (UTC)

Copied and Paste?!

To be honest, the info i added that u changed to the mi fang article, i never copied and pasted. I said so myself in my summary, not a dang thing from the info was from wikipedia.

And your message: "For instance, why did Mi Fang surrender? It says that he did so in his own scroll due to fear. In Lu Meng's scroll, however, he saw Shiren in the Wu army and invited the Wu army as guests. Did you even bother to check or research for that? No. Stop copying and actually do some more research if you want an actual historical section."

That is obviously referring to the fact that you think i got it all from wikipedia, heck, i am not that lazy! I created the Du Xi article a few days ago and recently it's now one big-a** article! And to my view that's all good and swell. But, how is it that Du Xi's article is big as heck and yet Zang Ba's article have nothing regarding his role in actual history, ROTK, nor the Dynasty Warriors games. And Mi Fang's have little regarding those terms. And you saying:

"In Lu Meng's scroll, however, he saw Shiren in the Wu army and invited the Wu army as guests. Did you even bother to check or research for that? No. Stop copying and actually do some more research if you want an actual historical section."

Really? That happened? Gee, I had no idea. And for the life of me I have no clue why no one has added that to the article.

You saying about my info that said that "Mi fang betrayed for personal gains", yeah well, that was already in mi fang koei wiki article while i was editing.

And about you're statement: "You could have even said more about the RoTK version of his surrender, when he was forced to because Fu Shiren's rash actions prevented him from stepping out, but you didn't. My word, you didn't even try to say something like his entire family tree and made that connection that Lady Mi, Liu Bei's wife, is his younger (sometimes argued older) sister."

I never knew that! I dont have that much free time! I do have a life!

and regarding zang ba's article he is my fav dw character (one of them) and i have researched him on every site i could find for the past year and a half and i could barely find anymore info than i have been providing. But I understand what you are talking about. --Aeris97 22:02, April 21, 2010 (UTC)

Hokuto Musou Toki Info

I saw you removed the info on Toki's alternate outfit. To my understanding, Toki is 'cured' during his Illusion Mode - thus being more illusionary...heh. His first Illusion has him as normal, but then he reverts to his old self from that mission forward. Of course, my japanese is lacking, but seeing how he reverts during the Illusion story for the remainder of the story, I'm assuming he's 'cured' - but yes, it does match his pre-sickness form as well :)

Servbot001 20:52, April 26, 2010 (UTC)Servbot001

Even so, stating that he's "cured" implies that he's like that the entire game, when he's not. Not even in other stories in Illusionary mode. He's still "sick" Toki in his own official mode and other stories. Plus, any Hokuto fan will tell you that his alternate is kinda what he used to look like before he sacrificed himself to close the shelter with Kenshiro, Yuria, and other people moments before the 199X bombing. It's easier to just say that it's his alternate to avoid future confusion. Just like with Rei and Raoh and company. Sake neko 21:11, April 26, 2010 (UTC)

Well, it's part of the Illusion mode story that he gets cured. He does in fact change in the other stories within Illusion mode to reflect his non-sick condition. Just because I was curious, I went and played around with him in Non-Sick mode and he's still got the blast scar on his back. So, that being said, he is officially cured and not pre-game Toki. The Illusion mode follows some alternate ideas that fans of Hokuto wonder about - what would Toki be like if he got better, etc. So that being said, the alternate outfit is NOT pre-199X bombing but rather Alternate History Cured...or something similar.Servbot001 02:55, April 27, 2010 (UTC)

Fine, you can say that he's cured on his page if you want. It doesn't really sit well with me though if you don't update his page without saying more about his original mode though. Sake neko 15:15, April 27, 2010 (UTC)

No bad blood sir. Was just saying for posterity sake. When I re-edit it, I'll def word it to make sense more to the users.Servbot001 15:38, April 27, 2010 (UTC)

That's fine with me. :) Frankily, I'm happy that there's someone else wanting to edit anything for the Hokuto characters. If there's anyone else you would like to do the same with, then go ahead. Sake neko 15:42, April 27, 2010 (UTC)

Do it yourself in this case. But do not think you do everything perfectly, too, believe me, you make more mistakes. Banish me to this Wiki if you want, there's no incentive to work with such assholes. Fantajia 19:22, May 16, 2010 (UTC)

sangoku heroes

thx for sharing many great pictures of characters, didn't expect dong zhuo to be a handsome guy though XD. but ranmaru...i was like O.O!!!! is ranmaru receive gender change in this series? XD

According to the official website and description, Ranmaru is STILL A BOY. Hahaha, yeah right. Like, I said, he's one of the girliest ones I've seen in awhile. :) If you want to see more pictures of other EX characters, I found that Online Gamer has nearly all of them. It also never hurts to see the official website too. Share with other fans too; I doubt there's any chance we'll be able to play it outside of Asia. :) Sake neko 15:29, May 17, 2010 (UTC)

Toshiie Maeda

But in the games he wasn't at Ise but was at Okehazama, and judging from some other characters, these "significant" battles don't really need to be historical but instead important in the games for the characters. How about keeping both?

And I did some further researchs and Toshiie indeed took part in Okehazama historically.

Toshiie was written to have been there, but it's debatable if he actually participated. A few historical records says he didn't actually fight and was put on guard duty at best; the Taikoki and other books like it said he fought. I've only seen him actively participate as the fighting force of Okehazama in novels and plays. The Nobunaga Koki is vague about his actual participation for the battle as well.
Unless I have an extremely poor memory, he's at Ise-Nagashima in the SW:XL versions of the stage (he was at least in one of the Nagashima conflicts historically BTW). And I'd rather the significant battles be historically focused since the games flip-flop way too easily (unless they're historical simulation titles). Sake neko 19:05, May 17, 2010 (UTC)

Hello Sake Neko,

I just noticed that you added a link to my Wiki (The Three Kingdoms Wiki). First of all, thanks for doing this. And second, I see you also added a link to Sanguo Zhi Wiki. That was my first Wiki, but I abandoned it, so you can remove it and perhaps add another link to the hub instead. ---Zantam03 (Talk) 15:06, May 24, 2010 (UTC)

Okay, if that's how you feel, I respect that. Sake neko 17:12, May 24, 2010 (UTC)

Hi,Sake Neko, long time no see.How are you? It's me,the big fan of Koei Saiyuki Journey West. You once said that you were looking for an artbook, right? Is this the one? http://www.hlj.com/product/SYU74091

Hey, how you've been? :) Sorry, but that book is really different from the one I'm looking for. What I'm angling to find -anywhere for a decent price- is technically not an artbook but a manual: http://www.gamecity.ne.jp/media/book/game/game_etc/other/saiyuuki.htm. The Hoshin Engi one that I'm looking for at the moment is this one: http://www.gamecity.ne.jp/media/book/game/hoshin/hoshinOG.htm (but really, I'd be happy to see any of these books). I call these books artbooks because I have seen photos of these books and they has full body pictures of the characters inside of them. It has other information that I'd like to know as well, such as character profiles and an interview with the character designer.
On another note, I'm currently trying to find out who voices who in this game. It's really hard to discern since all that everyone knows for sure is the first five party members. Plus, what little each character says is usually limited to exclamations or small utterances. I watched the Japanese credits for the voice actors and I'll list them out along with my current guesses on who voices who. A question mark means that it's still just a guess while an asterisk are ones that I know for sure.
These are the ones people know for certain:
Sōichirō Hoshi - Sanzo (male)
Yui Horie - Sanzo (female)
Yuji Ueda - Goku
Naoki Tatsuta - Hakkai
Nobuyuki Hiyama - Gojo
Maria Yamamoto - Ryorin
Atsuko Enomoto - Kikka
This list includes ones listed in credits along with my guesses:
Sōichirō Hoshi - Sanzo (male), Kannon (?)
Yui Horie - Sanzo (female), Kano Usenko (?), Sei Obo (?)
Yuji Ueda - Goku, Deva (?), Kannon (?)
Naoki Tatsuta - Hakkai, Nyoi (?), Reikan (?)
Nobuyuki Hiyama - Gojo
Maria Yamamoto - Ryorin, Kano Usenko (?), a villager girl (?)
Atsuko Enomoto - Kikka, Sei Obo (?)
Ryō Horikawa - Asura (fairly certain but still unsure), Jiro Shingun (?), an inns keeper (*)
Toshiyuki Morikawa - Deva (?), Jiro Shingun (?), Kannon (?), Reikan (?)
Narumi Tsunoda - Nata (?), Kano Usenko (?), Garda (?)
Hitomo Oikawa - Tessen (?), Posion Ivy (?), Nagini (?)
Hironori Miyata - Ox King (*), Rhinon (?)
Miho Yamada - The twins (?), Windy (?), Sei Obo (fairly certain but might change), a villager girl (?)
Osamu Hosoi - Hei Reiko (*), Ko Horo (?)
Sayaka Aida - Tessen (?), Nagini (?)
Yasunori Masutani - Bunchu (*), Rhinon (?)
Kentarō Itō - Yasksha (*), Kannon (?), Reikan (?)
Takkō Ishimori - Elder Homei (*), Chin Genshi (*)
Well, I'm still trying to figure this one out. At least the voice actors are there though. Sake neko 16:21, June 3, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks,i'm fine here.I see,i will see if there is anything i can help. If you ever need my help, just leave a message here,i will try my very best to help you. ^^

a question about wen zhong in fengshen yanyi 2 and mystic heroes

my question is which Wen Zhong appeared in Mystic Heroes storyline, the evil one or the good one? because the Wen Zhong in Mystic Heroes looks exactly like the good Wen Zhong in fengshen yanyi 2, but in the Wen Zhong article it says that according to Mystic Heroes his evil counterpart was sealed away, but the evil Wen Zhong has red eyes and his third eye opened and his attire's colors slightly different from his opposite, so please answer me thank you.

I haven't really played Mystic Heroes to be honest (haven't been able to get a copy), but based on the opening movie and what I know of it, both of them come back. The evil one was sealed with E Lai, Daji, and King Zhou and was revived with them. Don't me how on that, I don't know how either. The good side is most likely revived due to his evil counterpart arising and tries to help Ziya and other characters again. His third eye only opens up in the first game; it stays shut in the other titles. Pretty much the only way to tell the 3D Wen Zhongs apart is by their attitude, occasionally their weapon, and eye color (red=evil; blue=good). Speaking of Wen Zhong, I should really rewrite the FY2 section on his page; it's a little inaccurate. :/ Sake neko 14:47, July 25, 2010 (UTC)

hey you

why did you delete the history for zhuge liang and guan yu i know it was a lazy copy and paste but at least i put the effort to include information now before you go and just delete random stuff just take the time to think and at least appreciate that someone went to different sites and copied and pasted and if you have not noticed most of it was not from wikipedia

Hey Man

Hey have you heard of DW7's release on a forum they already uploaded th portraits wht do you think if we add them here?

Hi,Sake Neko. How are you? It's me,the huge fan of koei saiyuki journey west. Could you upload the rest of the saiyuki characters images like the eight devils and minor characters when you are free? Thanks. ^^

Okay, think I'll try doing that sometime this week then. I've been looking forward to finishing the rest of those pages. I can't any Journey of the West summaries for the characters though, I haven't finished reading the entire novel yet. Sake neko 15:55, September 22, 2010 (UTC)

Hi,Sake Neko,

It's me,the huge fan of Saiyuki. Oh,you have the Koei Saiyuki Journey West novel? The last time i saw it was in japanese, I wasn't sure if there is any english version out there.

Well, it's actually a two-book retelling of the game. One tells how Sanzo gets his party and the other tells an episode during her journey to India. One says that Sanzo's male, the other stress he's a she. I don't personally own them unfortunately and I don't think they were ever localized into English. Sorry. :( Sake neko 14:32, September 28, 2010 (UTC)

Oh, i see. It's ok,you don't have to apologize. ^^

Saiyuki fan, are you still watching this talk page? I'm just giving you a notice that I won't be doing Saiyuki pages until Wikia's updated with their new skin and all that jazz (October 6th). This wiki might need some changes done to it to conform to the new changes. It'll also take me a day or so to get used to the content space too so bear with me on that. If everything is still okay and not too bad on this wiki, then I'll restart those pages again. I don't really want to upload a bunch of pages or images, just to find out that I may have to readjust them in someway for the wikia new skin. Cheers. :3 Sake neko 18:58, October 4, 2010 (UTC)

Warriors Orochi Weapon Images

Could you tell me where I can find good quality versions of those images? Or a specific way to extract them? Lon3wolf 20:16, October 22, 2010 (UTC)

Um... take screenshots directly from the game? I have the PS2 and PC versions so I don't know what else to tell you. There probably is a way to extract them from the PC version but I find nothing really wrong with old fashioned print-screen. Sake neko 16:33, October 23, 2010 (UTC)
I know, but the best resolution I can get right now is 195x139 (I use Warriors Orochi Z PC version, weapon gallery, 1280x720 Windowed). Your screenshots are good quality 244x174. Do you mind telling me what you used to screen a weapon, let's say, Dodomeki's Demon Bracers for example. Lon3wolf 08:36, October 24, 2010 (UTC)
Print-screen at a higher image res then crop in Photoshop. Nothing much more than that. I recall getting the weapons first and then taking their caps from the Gallery section. I think anyways. Sorry, I can't remember much. >_< If that helps you, then I feel a little better about it.
But seriously... I don't really think any other character in the WO series really needs WO weapon images on the wiki. They're either exactly the same as DW5 or SW2 (SW2XL and SW3 to an extent). The only difference between them aesthetically for the image is the background. The weapon might a slightly higher render than their respective PC games, but it's still the same... Sake neko 14:57, October 24, 2010 (UTC)

Jin Category

Might I suggest moving it above Other but below Wu/Wei/Shu in the categories section? I think it'd look a lot better that way considering Other is more.. generally speaking and Jin is an actual "Kingdom/Empire".

~Shadowclaimer 16:18, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Okay then. Glad I wasn't the only one who thought that. I can't properly reply but yeah. Will do.Sake neko 16:11, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Yea I'll get a proper username and such set up eventually ;D, I'm very happy with your updates (I happened upon the Sima Shi one by accident when I refreshed his page while reading it) and figured I'd throw that bit of advice your way. Also I like the color choice, a Cyan or Turquoise fits well. Shadowclaimer 16:18, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks so much! It looks a lot better. And feel free to join whenever you feel like it. :D Sake neko 16:14, October 26, 2010 (UTC)
Will do, I'm enjoying it around here, I tend to find characters that don't have a solid character in the game itself and draw them for my own amusement and practice, so this site tends to consume most of my "Supposed to be working" time at work. I'm really hoping they go with a Han Dynasty faction as well just to organize loyal Han Followers and some of the generals of the pre-Three Kingdoms era as well. Shadowclaimer 16:18, October 26, 2010 (UTC)
Personally, I want a good Zhu Jun in the games being playable but I know it will never happen. Sake neko 17:50, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

I think we might see He Jin in the future sometime, Zhu Jun would be badass though, I mean there's hope for anyone, in reality Pang Tong only showed up and survived for a single battle historically, I'm pretty sure that opens the table for anyone to make it in the games lol Shadowclaimer 17:51, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, but it's kinda a shame to think about it from that perspective. It's like Omega Force goes, "Hey, so-and-so did this really cool thing like once in their entire life. Let's make them playable!" or something like. Though to be fair, Pang Tong did plenty of neat things while in office and did quite a bit for the one campaign he does. Well, here's hoping I guess. Sake neko 17:55, October 26, 2010 (UTC)
Haha yea I agree, I think what sucks more about it all is they'll probably tend to pick more "edgy" or non-typical characters to attempt to round out the teams as opposed to ones that may not be so drastically different but were really important or genuinely great people for both their actions and attitudes. I think Pang De is a good counter-example of that though, he had a great backstory, great character design, and was based on a character that in previous titles was just an npc, so that gives me some solid hope.
Shadowclaimer 17:58, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

DW7 Asterisks

Might I petition for the return of it? I mean I give you priority over me (You know how to work a wiki more than I do) but I figure something to denote who's new to the series as a whole would be helpful. Maybe not asterisks but something. However, as I said, you know Wiki's better than I do, and if you really think such a thing doesn't belong I'll go ahead and cede my opinion. Shadowclaimer 15:28, November 2, 2010 (UTC)

Alright if you think so, just figured I'd double check. Shadowclaimer 15:38, November 2, 2010 (UTC)

sima zhao and wang yuanji in dw

You said in your contribution that Wang Yuanji doesnt marry to Sima Zhao in DW series, however in the magazine it said that Wang Yuanji is Sima Zhao's wife isnt it? or was it my japanese mistake?

No, it doesn't. What Famitsu reports is nearly exactly the same as the official website. The official website doesn't have them mentioned as "husband and wife" in their character descriptions (夫 or 妻 are the key characters you should look for). Usually this type of note is stated in the first sentence of their description (style name -if they have one-, some family lineage, spouses).
So they aren't married in the games at the start of their story. That doesn't mean their entire story might say otherwise, but, at this point, they're not. The whole married thing is probably added so people know who she was historically. This is somewhat similar to the Ginchiyo and Muneshige character misunderstanding in SW3. Even if they are historically married to one another, they aren't in the games. Sake neko 14:38, November 13, 2010 (UTC)

That means the official website is more accurate than the magazine? And about this character 妻 which means wife is in her bio in the magazine, this is the link of the magazine scan http://www.koeiwarriors.co.uk/images/magazinescans/dw7/dw7-1a.jpg

Her bio is between her legs, i must apologize to you in advance for bothering you about this but i just want to make sure the information was right

Yes yes, I know about all of that. And my point still stands. The magazine scan says the exact same thing as the official website. The magazine scan adds that she is historically Sima Zhao's wife, yes, but this omitted from the official website. All wives within the series are already identified in the character descriptions. Zhen Ji's profile doesn't have the family notice in the first sentence of her character description. However, further along within it, Cao Pi is mentioned to have met her and married her. Da Qiao has her as Sun Ce's wife in her second sentence, and her younger sister is mentioned right after it.
Wang Yuanji has absolutely no mention of being a wife to anyone within it (her only family listed is her father; or to translate what the official description says for her, "Daughter of the esteemed Wei vassal, Wang Su"). Also, if you're wondering, Bao Sanniang, Cai Wenji, and Xing Cai are also counted as single in their character descriptions.
It's no bother really. I do appreciate it when someone questions their sources. :) Sake neko 15:44, November 13, 2010 (UTC)

Jin Dynasty

Hi. I want to say you something. I think that Jin should be a separate issue and not the Jin Dynasty. Why? Look at Shu. It is separate topic. It isn't "Shu Dynasty" it is "Shu". You know what I mean right? We should leave "Jin" not "Jin Dynasty". Believe me.

Yeah, Zhuge Liang was in that series along with the other certain Dynasty Warriors. That video does look old and it doesn't premier in certain states. But I am really need to watch some new three romance kingdom series if it exist, can you recommended me some new videos?User_talk:Ericard 16:44, December 27, 2010 (UTC)

Ok, thanks. That video was my editor actually based from Lubu vs three brothers.User_talk:Ericard 16:55, December 27, 2010 (UTC)

I tried to look all over the place for Orochi 2, but it was out of stock. So I brought Dynasty Warriors 6 and I was so curious that why the gameplay was so bad compare to SW games? And it was my first time playing DW and I was so regret for buying the games.User_talk:Ericard 01:49, January 10, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, it is just that the Mission and the stages was very complicated compare to SW series. Also, there are alot of changes in DW6 from the good looking graphics and gameplay. It is just that the mission was quite difficult compare to the other series.User_talk:Ericard 03:35, January 10, 2011 (UTC)

DW6

I actually brought DW6 because I like Cao Pi, Cao Cao,Lubu, Zhou Yu and Chou Yun very much. But there are some changes that I dislike, Zhou Yu wields a rod supposed to be warrior blade, Xiahou Dun(One eyed man, I was blocked in the page without a reason) wields a club supposed to be pirate blade, Guan Yu hair was uncovered(Supposed to be hair covered that was told in the legend).

Some I disagree also:

-Camera angle was closer compare to SW.

-Can't call my horse anytime.

-Player character slow walk compare to SW.

-Stages was very-very hard while chooses normal.

And in PS2 version, in CG movies, there are some pixel(low quality) can be seen during the CG Movies. Sake Neko, howabout your's? Does your screen have any pixel's during the CG Movies?User_talk:Ericard 07:24, January 10, 2011 (UTC)

DW6 con't

No wonder there is a pixelation in some battle scenes. And thanks for the other tips too.

This is how I feel for the first time I play story mode using Zhou Yun in snow battle, it's no big deal to defeat the fellow officers. But since Lu Bu appears, he's cool. So when I encounter him, he attack me only a 5-hit attack and WTF O_O!!! I blink my eyes and is this how I was game over in just a few minutes to beat the whole army until Lu Bu defeat me??? So I feel the gameplay was worst since it was the first time that the Koei didn't promote the stage 1 for players playing easy to win. Now, my further mission was Liu Bei defense in the middle of the map and my mission is to protect him for not battle any Sun Quan's officer, but I was beaten by Gan Ning that so HARD to win >.<. Now, I've won Zhou Yun musou in Level 20 above and starting Cao Pi in the new games.

And I like those new looking character changes, except on Xiaohou Dun(Wields Spike), Zhou Yu(with Rod), and Guan Yu(uncover Hair).

So far that I figured there is some weakness part in Zhou Yun, and I thinks it's about his attack or something...

User_talk:Ericard 01:48, January 11, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks, cause I am getting better in DW6 right now. I just need to train the character up level to conquer the musou stages easily. Although Zhou Yun is good for beginners and he's very strong in melee range. I've beat his story mode, now advance in Cao Pi in storyline. But still, I felt that the walk is a bit slow in DW6 games, so I got no choice but to play it... User_talk:Ericard 09:01, January 11, 2011 (UTC)

And I research all the stores that sell PS2 Dvd's and they said all Koei's game was soldout!!! So, I'll wait another stock for OW2. And I'll buy 2 piece of it.User_talk:Ericard 09:01, January 11, 2011 (UTC)

OW

I just don't get it, why there are Dynasty Warrior characters in Orochi launch such slow fireballs by pressing Triangle button? Does that fireball skill based from DW?User_talk:Ericard 20:08, January 11, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks. So far I use the fireball just for fun. But it might be useful with trapping on enemy officers. I know that moves available on Zhou Yu, Cao Cao, and Cao Pi. User_talk:Ericard 21:28, January 11, 2011 (UTC)

DW6

I've beat DW6 with Zhou Yun, Cao Pi, and Zhou Yu. And does DW6 Movies on every character actually are different scenes?User_talk:Ericard 16:01, January 12, 2011 (UTC)

I've using Xiahou Dun(Cao Cao's Cousin), he is very slow and I think he is very worst without his sword. User_talk:Ericard 16:25, January 13, 2011 (UTC)

I've done playing Xiahou Dun, and I like his movies but dislike his basic slow attacks. Also, Zhang He's movie was almost the funny part XD..User_talk:Ericard 05:53, January 18, 2011 (UTC)

I've beat Ma Chao's Legend and he's very strong. By the way, which one is better: The Lance or the Heavy Sword?User_talk:Ericard 11:04, January 18, 2011 (UTC)

Strikeforce 2 English?

Is there an official announcement for the english version of Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce 2? cause you said: "well, then. this is the actual name for this unless it's actually going to get localized"

Sake Neko, although I didn't input the character information properly, Kyosei directly block me on Xiahou Dun and Ma Chao's articles. He seems to be rude by simply block me without a reason. Could you please unblock me? User_talk:Ericard 12:10, January 19, 2011 (UTC)

DW7 Character Chart

You should've expected me to pop up on this subject =P

I think we should keep the chart, at the very least until all characters in 5 are confirmed. Personally I'd be more towards keeping it permanently and flagging new characters to the series somehow, or just restyling the chart itself to be less of an eyesore. This is moreso me trying to seek a middle ground for keeping the chart if we ever hit a point where it can be considered removeable.

I actually suggest when it hits the point that all former characters are confirmed, we could do a listing of only new characters that contains a short summary of each newcomer. IE: (Not exactly like this but you get the point)

Insert at the top "All characters from Dynasty Warriors 6 return in the latest entry, as well as the characters removed in 6 (Xiao Qiao, Xing Cai, Guan Ping, and Pang De)" or something of the sort.

Ding Feng

Faction: Wu
Weapon of Choice: Clawed Knuckles
Ding Feng is a veteran general of Wu. His tall stature and frightening looking visage suggests he may be an absolute brute. In actuality, he appreciates peaceful landscapes and is a natural poet.

In a similar vein, we have a list that hurts your eyes on Gundam Musou 3's page, any ideas of something we can do with that?

I understand you said that for the future, what I am bringing up is a discussion for the future. It shouldn't just get dropped without some discussion of it, personally what I was pertaining to in regards to the character summaries was that the Character subsection of the page shouldn't be left as a simple "All characters return from previous games, they add the Jin Dynasty and some new characters", it should provide some info on the new characters, the new faction, and in general spark the interest in the reader to WANT to visit the main pages for new characters. I wasn't intending to spark a rant or an argument or whatever, I was just trying to discuss a point with you.

(Gah I need to start constructing my arguments better instead of having to reword/edit them 500,000 times) Shadowclaimer 18:04, January 19, 2011 (UTC)

Updated my previous post while you were typing that response =3 had to clarify it (I was rambling in it) Shadowclaimer 18:14, January 19, 2011 (UTC)

DWO Edit Page

Ah yea about this, my apologies, my computer blew last week so I haven't had access to DWO (I use the wiki at work or on my laptop). When I get it back up I'll get right on it. - Shadowclaimer 18:15, January 19, 2011 (UTC)

DW7 Character Edit

Just letting you know so you aren't confused, was actually reverting the change you were also reverting at the same time. So you don't think I was editting you or anything. Just bad timing xD Shadowclaimer 20:39, January 19, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks Sake Neko!

Thanks for editing Liu Chan, Liu Bei and anothers. You know... I don't understand some things but I want to help Koei wikia, because I am a fan. Tell my only one thing, okay? Why Zhang Jiao is bald?! I cannot understand it! xD I never liked him but he was funny to me.

Sorry for hurting english. I am from poland so much words cannot me good.

I found that Liu Bei is the strongest character in DW6 Shu and he is extremely powerful and speed. Also, Lu Shun is also stronger than Cao Pi. And the quote keep dove in my mind from Wei Yan that he says, "You... strong... me... stronger!". User_talk:Ericard 22:43, January 20, 2011 (UTC)

Fear the Tiger of Jiang Dong!!!

In Sun family, there are three mens, Sun Jian, Sun Ce and Sun Quan. Which one is the best character in DW6? User_talk:Ericard 05:17, January 24, 2011 (UTC)

Looks like I rather choose Sun Jian and Sun Quan. Both of them really look powerful. And one more character to go, cause I playing Diao Chan right now to get Lu Bu. By the way, do you know how to get the very best Horses? User_talk:Ericard 00:05, January 25, 2011 (UTC)

Between the two empires

I've brought the DW5:Empire and it was extremely awesome than SW2:E !!! The edit character feature is much more better than the SW version. So, what is the best way to unlock their custom parts?User_talk:Ericard 22:46, February 16, 2011 (UTC)

I found that DW5 version was hard compare with DW4 version. So, I will look around..User_talk:Ericard 22:52, February 16, 2011 (UTC)

Pretty...

I think Xing Cai is better than Diao Chan. What do you think?

User_talk:Ericard 03:56, February 19, 2011 (UTC)

It's complicated. But yeah, Koei was really a good in design women and man. Anyway, I saw Liu Chan's potrait and do you think that Liu Chan look like man enough? I've think of that he looks like Zhang He's personality or something...User_talk:Ericard 22:14, February 19, 2011 (UTC)

I seeeeee.... no wonder Liu Chan look like a Tactician style. Also, I can't wait to see his skills and battle syle. If you already purchase DW7, I hope you can show me his whole moveset in DW7 video clip. And by the way, DW5Empire is a worth to play, because it's better than even before DW5 version and you may edit the ending as well. :-) User_talk:Ericard 21:48, February 22, 2011 (UTC)

Do you know about the storyline between WATER MARGIN and THREE KINGDOMS? Cause I need to know where WATER MARGIN based from..User_talk:Ericard 02:27, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
