Gwendal Roche is a non-playable characters in Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.
Role in Game
In the Scarlet Blaze route, Gwendal is seen with his Count Rowe to assure him the Adrestrians will come to save them. At the Silver Maiden at Arianrhod, Gwendal holds out against the Faerghus forces loyal to Dimitri. If the player doesn't make it in time, Gwendal will be killed in the fighting. However if the player deploys a Gaspard militia to slow the enemy advance, then the player might gain the time they need to extricate Gwendal and Count Rowe.
In the Azure Gleam route, Gwendal lays siege to the Silver Maiden and in the early stages of the fighting manages to kill Miklan. Just when he has Catherine at his mercy, Dimitri's forces arrive and they kill him.
