Masumi Asano (浅野 真澄, Asano Masumi, born August 25, 1977) is a Japanese voice actor affiliated with Aoni Production. Born in Noshiro, Akita Prefecture, she moved to Saitama for a time and graduated from Kokugakuin University with a degree in Japanese literature. Her blood type and height are O and 163 cm respectively. Photography and prose are among her hobbies. She has two brothers and her favorite motto is "There is no rain that never ceases". Fans often call Asano by her nickname Masumin.

Originally, Asano had no interest in the voice acting industry until she accompanied a friend to an audition during their third school year. After being granted a scholarship to Yoyogi Animation Academy, she took vocal lessons on the side before graduating and officially began her debut in 1999. Aside from voice acting, Asano was actively involved in various singing groups and became one of the most popular radio hosts in Japan. She was also nominated for best personality in the 2007 Seiyū Awards. As a writer, she created several essays, lyrics, and children's stories.

Due to her flexible voice range, Asano has portrayed a variety of character roles throughout her career with remarkable proficiency. Some of her more memorable roles include Izumi Sawatari in He Is My Master, Najimi Osana in Dōjin Work, and Chloe Valens in Tales of Legendia.
