Sumire Uesaka is a freelance Japanese voice actor. She won Best Rookie Actress during the 10th Seiyu Awards.

A self-proclaimed Russophile, Uesaka fell in love with Russian culture after hearing the country's state anthem during her year as a high school freshman. She studied the language immensely in Sophia University and even visited Russia several times for promotional events. Uesaka's fascination earned her the nickname "Sumipe", replacing the standard letter "R" with its Cyrillic counterpart.

She is also a Romance of the Three Kingdoms buff and can speak in Chinese. She also began a singing career under King Records in April 2013.
