The Crimson Codex (紅玉の書, Kougyoku no Sho, "Ruby Book") is a Western spellbook given sentience. Long an heirloom of Miyamoto Musashi, it was passed over to Iori.
Role in Game
Possessing a will of its own, the Crimson Codex instructs Iori in Magecraft and serves as his surrogate father figure after Musashi's death. It also serves as a map and glossary index.
