Takagamine High School (鷹峯高校, Takagamine-kōkō) is a fictional high school introduced in Kiniro no Corda Starlight Orchestra.
Role in Games
A private all-boys school steeped in the traditions of Kyoto, Takagamine High School's motto is "Freedom, Autonomy, and Self-Reliance"; because they firmly believe that freedom comes with responsibility, delinquents and rule breakers are not punished so long as they do not blatantly violate public order, morals, or the law.
Much of the students attending Takagamine hail from the upper class and once had the privilege of commuting there by horse-drawn carriages. It is also connected with various local universities which offer part-time jobs for students interested in helping prepare for Kyoto's major festivals.
The school itself is surrounded by nature and has access to a concert hall nearby. Compared to South Hyūga High School, the extracurricular clubs of Takagamine primarily focus more on Japanese cultural activities like martial arts, flower arrangement, tea ceremonies, calligraphy, etc. A student's school year happens to be indicated by the number of cherry blossoms on their uniform's label pin.
