Shuren (シュレン) is one of the five Nanto Chariot Guardians who serve to protect Yuria. Hoping to succeed where Huey failed, Shuren ambushes Raoh in a valley with the Fire Brigade. Shuren manages to take down some of Ken-Oh's soldiers including two who would not fall back out of fear of execution. He grazes Raoh with fire but is countered easily. In an act of desperation, he tries to light himself and Ken-Oh on fire. Raoh, however, gloats that fire can never extinguish Ken-Oh and crushes Shuren's head, leaving his corpse to burn.
Dream Mode
Just before the nuclear apocalypse, Shuren and Huey train with Kenshiro and Jagi. Shin jealously attempts to hunt down Yuria and Kenshiro while Shuren tries to talk him down. After the nuclear holocaust, Shuren hopes to stop Juza from betraying the South Star Chariots, but is knocked out.
Fighting Style
Shuren's fighting style allows him to light his enemies on fire. Any attempt to touch may burn the victim.
