Shiori Mikami is a Japanese voice actor. Mikami took an interest in anime and voice acting after watching an episode of Saber Marionette J at her grandmother's house. Upon narrowing down her chosen career, she worked hard to become the president of her school's broadcasting committee while being active in various clubs. Although her parents were initially against it, she persuaded them to let her take voice acting lessons.
Living in Tokyo was somewhat complicated for Mikami at first. She had to practice her lines at a public park to avoid disturbing the neighborhood, though an old lady's encouragement helped ease her into city life. She graduated in 2009 and made her official debut the same year. During the 6th Seiyu Awards, Mikami won the award for Best Rookie Actress despite being relatively new at the time.
Due to being raised in the countryside, Mikami prefers going outdoors and hanging out with friends. Because her family's house was an auto repair shop, she has sufficient knowledge when it comes to cars.
While Mikami's vocal range may be somewhat limited, her forte in voicing adorable characters is outstanding. Some of the roles under her belt include Ashe in Amagi Brilliant Park, Kokomon in Digimon Fusion, and Airy Ardet in Shining Blade.
