Shen Dan

Shen Dan (onyomi: Shin Tan) is the governor of Shangyong and Shen Yi's brother. During the Battle of Hanzhong, Cao Cao retreats and knowing he was isolated, Shen Dan submits to serve Liu Bei. Later, after Meng Da refuses to lend aid to Guan Yu, he is able to convince Meng Da to defect to Wei. In the year 227, he and his brother plot with Sima Yi against Meng Da when he plans to go back to Shu.

Role in Games

In Dynasty Warriors 5: Xtreme Legends, he and his brother are at first fighting alongside Meng Da at Xin Castle. When he is convinced, Shen Dan reminds Sima Yi that the rebellion was the idea of Meng Da.

During Dynasty Warriors 8, Shen Dan will be guarding the southern garrison in Wei's side of Fan Castle, and must be defeated in order to build the rams to break into the Shu main camp.

In Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends, Shen Dan will be present at both battles at Shangyong in Jin's story, and will act as the battles' allied commander.
